Need a lot of help for a playoff bid

At 4-7 we need a lot of help to make the playoffs this year.  We've lost a number of close games this season.  We'll look to get on the right track against the Blue Jays this week.

3-4 At the Halfway Point

July 1, 2018

We're now 3-4 halfway through the season and currently in 5th place.  We need a few wins against teams ahead of us in the standings in order to make the playoffs.

First Win of the Season

June 9, 2018

We got our first win of the season against the Eagles, 18-5.  Ryan Korth led the way with 4 of our 16 hits.  Korey Klein had 3 hits and 6 Ks in 3 innings pitched.  Aaron Roberts finished the game with 4 strong innings of pitching for the win in 7 innings.

Our next game will be on 6/17.  We will be playing 2 games. The first is against the Wolverines at noon.  The second is up in Abrams against Brookside at 4pm.

18 innings, but we couldn't get the win

Our first game of the season went 18 innings against the Cubs.  We were down 3 runs early, but clawed back to tie the game.  In the 14th inning we scored 4 runs to go ahead, but a couple of errors in the bottom of the inning gave the Cubs 4 runs to tie.  The Cubs won the game in the bottom of the 18th.  The bases were loaded with 1 out and the middle infielders were playing back for the double play.  We got our double play ball, but couldn't complete the double play.

Aaron Roberts had a gutsy 8 innings of pitching in extra innings.  Korey Klein had 8 Ks in 4 innings of pitching.  Codey Ehlert and Jason Stevens each had 3 hits

First game - now at Koslo

Since the USA Youth fields are apparently so bad at draining water that they had to call off our game for tomorrow. We're now playing at Koslo at 3pm.

Come join the team

March 4, 2018

We're looking to fill out our roster this year with a few more players.  Come join us!  You need to be 25 years old by 12/31/2018 to be eligible.

Ended on a sour note

We dropped our final 3 games of the season to finish 8-6 and on the outside looking in for the playoff hunt.

Still in 2nd place after a loss

We didn't play our best against the Blue Jays this week.  Other than a home run by Jason Stevens and a triple from Aaron Roberts, we only managed 4 other hits.  The Blue Jays were able to find the holes in our defense for 11 hits, including 1 home run.

This week we take on the Cubs at 6pm at USA Youth Sports Complex.  A win assures us a top four finish and a playoff spot.

We stay tied for 2nd with a win in Kewaunee

Jason Miller pitched a strong 8 innings in a win at Kewaunee.  Jason Stevens hit his first homer of the year to tie Amador, Klein, and Jenkins for the team lead.

Next game is against the resurgent Blue Jays in Little Chute at 3pm.

We're now tied for 2nd

We're now tied for 2nd place with Brookside after defeating the Cubs 4-1.  Aaron Roberts went the distance on the mound.  Korey Klein had a single, double, RBI, and scored 2 runs.  Ben McClellan had 3 hits and 2 RBI.  Ryan Korth had 2 hits and 2 runs.  Korth also played a solid SS.

After a sweep of the Panthers we're in a 3-way tie for 3rd

We swept the Panthers 22-0 and 7-0 to go 6-3 on the season.  Highlights include the Brauers first no-hitter in team history.  It was a team effort by Korey Klein and Ryan Korth along with good defense.  Richard Amador also hit his first home run of the season.

This week we play the Cubs at 3pm on Sunday at Koslo.  The Cubs are currently ahead of us in the standings and a win will put us ahead of them in the playoff hunt.

Split doubleheader with the Foxes keeps us in playoff contention

We split a doubleheader with the Foxes to bring our record to 4-3.  We are solidly in 5th place at the moment with the top 4 teams making it to the playoffs.

Our next games are a doubleheader against the Panthers on July 9th.  The games start at 1pm in Suamico.

Rainout last week means a doubleheader this week

Come on out on Sunday for a doubleheader against the Foxes starting at 2pm at Koslo.  We will play two 7-inning games.

We're now at 3-2 and squarely in the playoff hunt

After a 12-10 win over Kewaunee, we're in the playoff hunt. We're currently in 5th place, one game behind the A's and Cubs, who are tied for 3rd place.  Come on out to Koslo and enjoy some Bud Lights with the team as we play the Foxes at 12:30pm this Sunday.

Brauers 2-2 after splitting doubleheader

We're now 2-2 on the season after splitting our doubleheader with the A's.

Next game is on 6/11 at Koslo against the Kewaunee Eagles.

Next game - doubleheader vs A's

After another rainout last week and a week off for the Memorial Day holiday, our next game is a doubleheader against the A's.  The games start at Koslo at 3pm.  We will play 2 7-inning games.

Our stats have been updated from the first two games.

Brauers 1-1 to start the season

After a weak hitting performance against Brookside (9-1 loss), the bats came alive this week against the Blue Jays for a 9-7 win. Korey Klein had 16 Ks in 6 innings (including the rare 4 Ks in one inning) and Jason Miller held on for the save. Ryan Korth went 3-5 with a double, 3 RBI and a run to lead the offense.

Today's game cancelled - 4/30

Today's game against the A's has been cancelled due to weather.  We will make up the game on 6/4 with a doubleheader at Koslo.  The doubleheader will be two 7-inning games.

Welcome to the home of your Neenah Brauers!

Welcome, and thanks for checking out our site! The Neenah Brauers are the defending champions of the NEW MSBL (Northeast Wisconsin Mens Senior Baseball League) and we can't wait for spring so we can get our spikes dirty. If you're ever free on a Sunday afternoon, stop on by and see one of our games - we'd really appreciate your support. Now, a little about the team.....the Brauers are heavily inspired by the Milwaukee Brewers and are made up of mainly 30-somethings from the Fox Valley. We all have some sort of a baseball background, some more than others. We'd like to say we have a few former TimberRattlers (A-Rod and Big Papi) on our team, but we can't (actually, we can!) - we're a bunch of friends having a great time playing hardball again. Our main goal is to go out on Sunday afternoons and have a good (and competitive) time playing old-school, wooden bat, fast-pitch baseball.

Player statistics can be found on the 'Roster' link to the left - so feel free to click it to find out more about 'your Neenah Brauers'.

We hope to see you at the ballpark!
