Shock to host 13th Annual GEFA All Star Game
The 13th annual GEFA All Star game will be played Saturday July 1st at The VFW Memorial Park 301 Jermyn Street Dickson City, PA 18519.
The game will feature the best players from the league from their perspective Mountain and Valley conferences
Game time is set for a 1:00pm start and will be proceeded by a flag football game at 11:00am with the proceeds going to The Christopher Reeves Foundation and The Family of Carlos Anderson.

Week 9 report: @ Mount Joy Cyclones
The Shock fall to 6-3 with a 58-26 Loss...
The offense had some miscues due to a good Cyclone Defense, but still managed to move the ball. QB Josh Cragle threw for 227 yards and 2 TDs, but was intercepted 4 times. WR Tom Kolodzieski and RB Ryan Womack accounted for those scoring catches. Womack and Ken Alguire combined for 66 yards on the ground. The defense battled that Cyclone offense tough all game. Womack and Tom Minier had 6 tackles each, and Matt Talerico came away with an interception.
The Shock were due to return home on 6/4 to face the Haven War Hawks, but will receive the forfeit Win.
The team has clenched a playoff birth for the 2016 season and will be in post season action starting on 6/11!!
Week 8 report: @ Wyoming Valley Warriors
The Shock improve to 6-2 with a 58-13 Win! The defense performed well under the lights creating a short field. Quinn Buckner had 3 interceptions, Matt Talerico lead all tacklers with 6, while Tom Minier added 4.5 sacks. The offense gladly accepted those opportunities created by the defense. QB Josh Cragle threw for 199 yards and 6 TDs. WR Tom Kolodzieski accounted for 4 of those scores and 84 yards, while Phil Ross added 2 more TD catches. RB Andre Chollette lead the ground attack with 43 yards.
The Shock are on the road to face the Mount Joy Cyclones on May 21st at 3pm.
Week 7 report: vs. Railroad City Bandits
The Shock improve to 5-2 with a 60-26 Win! The offense got rolling early and the Bandits defense had a hard time keeping QB Josh Cragle from finding the end zone. Josh threw for 277 yards and 5 TDs while running in 4 more scores! WRs Tom Kolodzieski & Quinn Buckner combined for 169 yards and 2 TDs, and Phil Ross added 2 more TD catches. RB Andre Chollette lead the ground attack with 44 yards. The defense performed well. Quinn Buckner had 2 interceptions, Charlie Roman had 7 tackles and 1 Sack, and Nick Parlanti added 9 tackles. The Shock are on the road Saturday May 14th against the Wyoming Valley Warriors in the "The Battle of the Northeast" game at 7pm.
Week 6 report: vs. Upper Dauphin Comanche
The Shock improve to 4-2 with a 54-0 Win! The offense had a slow start but got rolling. QB Josh Cragle threw for 211 yards and 3 TDs. WRs Tom Kolodzieski & Phil Ross combined for 177 yards and 3 TDs. RB Andre Chollette lead the ground attack with 58 yards. The defense had another good day with constant pressure leading to 8 sacks and Matt Talerico's 2 interceptions. Isiah Sommerville had 7 stops to lead the Defense. The Shock are at home Saturday May 7th to hosting the Railroad City Bandits.
Week 5 report: @ Carlisle Venom
The Shock improve to 3-2 with a 48-0 Win! The offense operated mostly on the Venom's side of the field creating quite a few quick scoring opportunities. QB Josh Cragle threw for 169 yards and 4 TDs. WRs Tom Kolodzieski & Phil Ross combined for 154 yards and those 4 TDs. RB Andre Chollette lead the ground attack with 72 yards. The defense had a day accounting for 11 sacks, 2 safetys, and 2 interceptions. 1 of those was returned for a TD by Ken Alguire. Tom Minier & Nick Parlanti had 8 tackles each. Minier also had 3.5 sacks and Charlie Roman added 3 sacks. The Shock are at home Saturday April 30th to host the Upper Dauphin Comanche.
Week 4 report: @ Schuylkill Co. Predators
The Shock improve to 2-2 with a 53-19 Win! The defense played exceptional accounting for 7 sacks and 5 interceptions due in part to the great pressure up front. Isaih Sommerville lead the way with 9 tackles, 2 sacks, & 2 interceptions (1 returned for a TD). On offense QB Josh Cragle threw for a Shock game record 298 yards while adding 4 TDs through the air & another on the ground. WRs Tom Kolodzieski & Phil Ross combined for 168 yards and 4 TDs on the day.
The Shock are on the road again this Saturday April 23rd to face the Carlisle Venom.
Week 3 report: vs. Lancaster Outlaws
The Shock improve to 1-2 with a 33-25 Win! The defense played well accounting for 3 sacks and 1 interception. Tom Minier lead the way with 7 tackles and 1 of those sacks. On offense QB Josh Cragle threw for 3 TDs. WRs Tom Kolodzieski & Phil Ross accounted for 158 yards and those three scores. RBs Andre Chollette & Ryan Womack combined for 151 on the ground while adding a pair of TDs.
The Shock will go on the road this Saturday April 16th to face the Schuylkill County Predators.
Week 2 report: vs. Anthracite Reapers
The Shock fall to 0-2 with a 33-20 loss in their home opener. The offense was lead by Josh Cragle who accounted for 3 TDs (2 passing, 1 rushing) and WR Javaun Barnett caught 9 passes for 137 yards and 2 scores. On the defensive side Nick Parlanti accounted for 8 tackles & 1 sack, while Tom Minier added 6 tackles & 1 sack.
The Shock will play at home once again this Saturday April 9th hosting the Lancaster Outlaws.
Week 1 report: @ Cumberland Valley Hitmen
The Shock fall short in the last minute 51-47. Team played well and played together with a few early year miscues leading to a Hitmen victory. Josh Cragle accounted for 5 TDs matching a GEFA game record (3 passing, 1 rushing, & 1 receiving) The defense was lead by Nick Parlanti (8 tackles) and Charlie Roman & Tom Minier (5 tackles each)
The Shock will play their home opener on 4/2 against the Anthracite Reapers.
Kicker Jim Kazalski Signs with the Omaha Beef for 2016
The NEPA Shock's 2015 Special Teams Player of the Year Jim Kazalski signed with the Pro indoor team the Omaha Beef for the 2016 season.
Jim in his inaugural season with the shock hit 17/19 extra points, 2/3 field goals, and was the only kicker in the MIFL to record Uno points on the kickoff (2 in the season finally)
Jim's talent will be missed in Northeast Pennsylvania, but we wish him all the best in his pro career with the Beef this season!

NEPA SHOCK Retired Jersey Numbers
Jersey #7 was retired in honor of the playing career of our former Head Coach Travis Grobes. Coach Grobes was inducted into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame in 2013 and the GEFA Hall of Fame in 2017.
Jersey #12 was retired on 3/23/13 in honor of our fallen teammate Ted Wallingford.
Jersey #21 was retired on 3/23/13 in honor of our fallen teammate Willy Mimms.
Jersey #35 was retired in honor of the playing career of our Owner Nick Parlanti. Nick was inducted into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame in 2014 and the GEFA Hall of Fame in 2018.
Jersey #53 was retired on 5/9/15 in honor of our fallen teammate Eric Gronski.
Jersey #96 was retired on 3/23/13 in honor of our fallen teammate Will "Hitman" Smith.
