Ohio Department of Health Concussion Information Sheet

Ohio law (ORC 3707.511) requires coaches to provide all parents of players in a youth sports organization information pertaining to the dangers of concussions since these types of injuries have increased significantly over the last few years in youth sports.  Coaches are required by law to be trained in the evaluation of concussions and to take appropriate actions if a player is suspected of having a concussion, up to and including immediate removal from the game. Parents are asked to read the Ohio Department of Health's "Concussion Information Sheet" by clicking HERE.
