Mandatory Fundraising Meeting on Thursday, September 26th @ CHS
There will be a mandatory meeting @ 5:30 pm on Thursday, September 26th, in room 106 @ Central High School. All interested players need to have someone attend this meeting, since we will be handing out the information for our 1st fundraiser. We are starting a brand new team and we are in need of funds to purchase uniforms (home and away) and new equipment. We plan on having several fundraisers before the season starts, to offset the cost of purchasing all these new items. In addition, most of the coaches will be on hand, so if anyone (players or parents) have any questions, you will be given an opportunity to ask them. Please let 1 of the coaches know if you will be able to attend or not. If you have any further questions, please contact Mgr Chris Sanders @ 814-937-9319 or coach Brian Gahagan @ 814-934-3860. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday night. Remember, our motto this season will be: Proud Past, Fearless Future.

Fundraising Meeting, November 14th @ CHS
There will be a mandatory meeting for parents/players in room 106 @ Central High School @ 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 14th. Apparel orders and money will be due and we will be handing out our next fundraiser, Hershey candy. Each player will be responsible for selling 1 box of candy and the money is due @ the 1st practice on Thursday, December 5th @ ERA in Altoona (same day that the apparel orders will be handed out). The coaches will be there if you have any questions or concerns at all. It is very important that we have at least a parent or a player at this meeting, because we do have a few things to discuss (such as the golf outing we are planning for March 2014). Please let one of the following people know if you will or your child will be there: Chris Sanders (814-937-9319) cell or office 814-942-3000 ext 727. Brian Gahagan (814-934-3860), Ben Shaffer (814-934-0026) or Valerie Ellis (814-312-5778).
1st Annual Golf Outing
Our 1st Annual Golf Outing is quickly approaching.
The Golf Outing will be held on Sunday, April 6th at Iron Master's Country Club starting at 8am. This is our team's foundational year and we need to purchase all new equipment including bats, helmets, catcher's equipment and gloves, uniforms and pay for league fees. Your fundraising efforts and support has allowed us to purchase the team equipment and pay the league fee but we currently do not have enough to pay for our team uniforms, we are positive with your continued effort and dedication our 1st Annual Golf Outing will be a success and we will not have to turn to you for additional funds to cover the cost of uniforms. The Golf Outing is our BIGGEST fundraiser/event help make it a SUCCESS!!
We are offering discounts to all players and family... if your son would like to golf it will cost him $40.00. If your family would like to golf - a foursome will cost $180.00 that's a SAVINGS of $120.00!! (Fee includes 18 holes, green fees, cart, breakfast, drinks, snacks and prizes)
We still need 6 hole sponsors, cart sponsors and GOLFERS!!
GOLF OUTING ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS!
PARENTS - WE NEED THE FOLLOWING COMMITTEES: (We need your help to make this event run smoothly please mark your calendar and let us know what committee you would be willing to help on.)
BEVERAGE CARTS - WE DO NOT WANT THE PLAYERS OPERATING THESE CARTS SINCE BEER WILL AVAILABLE
Please remember all proceeds from this event will benefit the baseball team and help us move toward being a tradition in the Spring Cove Community. This will be a great day of fellowship and love while re-starting the tradition of Federation baseball. We would like to invite each and every one of you who have been a part of our baseball family to join us!!
