Waterford Valley has offered softball to Waterford Valley residents since 1981.  Teams have earned many provincial championsips in all levels of minor softball.  Waterford Valley has also achieved many Eastern Candain Championship medals over the years.  The black and gold is looking for the next generation of ballplayers who want to represent their province.

Players have the opportunity to represent Newfoundland and Labrador as members of Eastern Canadian teams that travel to various Altantic Candaian destinations once each year in the last weekend of August.  The program gives athletes the opportunity to represent Newfoundland in the Canada Games program, Midget Canadian,

Junior Canadian, Senior Canadian National Championships, local Intermediate and senior fastpitch programs.

Coaches in the Waterford Valley program have national level certification as coaches and have represented Newfoundland and Labrador for over 20 years in senior mens national competition.  Steven Jesso and Donny King have won many national medals in fastpitch softball and have committed to the game for over 60 years combined.  If you want your child to have an opportunity to gain confidence, experience success and have fun in a low pressure situation sign up for fastpitch softball with us.  We commit to making the program fun while at the same time developing discipline, good work habits and respect for themselves and the community.
