10/26/19 game #7 vs Capstone

YEH 8 Capstone 0

A Huge Conratulations to all Lynden Football players on a GREAT SEASON OF WORK

Yeh holds Capstone to 0 points with another GREAT DEFENSIVE EFFORT.

We started out with a hamstring/muscle injury to Trey and the entire Yey Team stepped up to Pull out a Championship WIN. With the Yeh Offense on the field Hayden Breaks a Very Long TD Run and a Dane to Quincy 2 Point conversion we take the lead 8-0. That was all the scoring with a game of possession's Yeh held the ball for many minutes of the game. A game without controversy hardly, With a bad spot for Yeh we fail to get the first down and on the very next play Another bad Spot and call causes a bit of confusion. Two refs marked it a first down and the other a turnover on downs with 4 minutes left. The capstone Coaches asked for a measurement but the chains had been moved. Yeh keeps the ball and runs out the clock.

Our End of the season party will be Held at the Lynden High School Cafeteria on Tuesday 10/29/19 at 5:45pm We KINDLY invite all Parents, Siblings and other Family Members to this event. Please Come Share and Contratulate each of these Players for a GREAT SEASON OF WORK. All Players will receive Awards, Photos, and More PLEASE SAVE THE DATE 10/29/19 at 5:45pm to 8:15pm

10/19/19 game #6 vs Mt Baker

YEH 33 Mt Baker 22

We knew this was going to be a tough game and it sure was. Mt Baker player came out strong and gave Yeh a Great Game. Yeh Players responded with a few Great Plays and defensive stops. At the half Mt Baker leading 15-14 and Yeh goes to work, each practice our players have learned Lynden Teams play their best in the 3rd and 4th qtrs. Yeh takes the lead and outscores Baker 19-7 in the second half of play.

10/12/19 game #5 vs Meridian

YEH 38 Meridian 0

Game delays and a fast moving clock our Yeh Players came out strong never looked back. The meridian team was clearly outsized today this being said our Players showed Great Sportsmanship. When the game finally starts it's a Trey strip and Isaiah defensive TD it was another HUGE defensive game including a pick 6 by Dane. We have a Great team of speed and athletes that led to Td's and 2 point conversions by Conrad, Alvaro, Ty, Trey and others so many it was hard to keep track of! We have alot of moving parts that is a great opportunity to have. We tried to get as many players moments as was possible even with the shortened game clock.  More than the score of todays game it's about learning and having FUN. We are very proud of our players work and effort. GREAT EFFORT TEAM YEH

Thank You to All MS Football Players and the MS Program.

Lynden vs Lynden always is always eventful and this proved to be the same. With a lone Touchdown run by Trey and no extra point Yeh takes 6-0 Lead and that is how the score would stay and end.

9/21/19 game #2 vs Mt Baker

YEH 30 Mt Baker 7

Wow what a Great day for football the sun was shining and a great Lynden vs Mt Baker matchup. The game started out a bit rough with the big team from Baker. Yeh players knew this would be a tough game but stepped up and gave a Great Effort. The importance of playing hard, and go until the whistle blows is what we ask for success. Yes this is also for safety and fundamental football. With the Defense giving up only one score in the first half, Yeh players realized their potential for their hard work and then hold Baker scoreless in the second half. Great team Defense was led by Craig and Jaxon with interceptions, Kase with two great knock downs and nearly every YEH player making great backfield tackles/sacks. On Offense it sure is nice to have a GREAT Snapper Thank You Luke, with this being said it's also nice to have a great team of athletes with speed. Eli, James, Trey, Hayden, Ty, Jaxon, Dane all moved the ball down the field quickly and efficiently. A Great football Team has alot of moving parts starting on the front line opening holes and completing blocks. Our players continue to improve, work hard in Practice and are learning more about this great game.

GREAT WORK YEH PLAYERS.

GAME #6 YEH 12-0 vs. Purple

Another Great day for football Yes it was a bit foggy this am with a tough matchup with the Nooksack Purple team. With Coach not available today our players had to listen to coaches Matt, Derrek & Rick so this was a bit different and our YEH players stepped and played a Great Game.This game was everything we expected it would be as the Nooksack players are well coached and good sized. Yeh comes out on top 12 to 0. Both Teams worked hard  and showed Great sportsmanship. Yeh players knew this would be a tough game and stepped up and gave 100% Effort. Each game the importance of playing hard until the whistle blows is all that we can ask. With YEH starting with the ball and driving Yeh comes up big with a score 6-0 With a takeaway and score Yeh LEads 12-0. These TD Runs by Hayden & Dane were all set up by Great snaps by Luke and Great Blocking all the way down the field. We also Had Big Runs From Lincoln, Brodey, Jaxon, Gunner and Cayden. GAME #5 YEH 14-13 Capstone

Wow what a Great day for football the sun was shining and a Great Lynden vs Lynden matchup. The game was everything both Teams hoped for with our Yeh team coming out on top 14 to 13. Congratulations to both Teams of Lynden Players for the hard work and Great sportsmanship. Yeh players knew this would be a tough game and stepped up and gave a Great Effort. Each game the importance of playing hard until the whistle blows is what we ask for success Yes also for safety and fundamental football. With Capstone starting with the ball driving Yeh comes up big and strips the ball for a takeaway. We like to always recognize the importance of good snaps and blocking Great work Luke and our O line today. Our offense drove down the field and the drive was capped off by a Brodey C TD and a Hayden 2 point conversion.Hayden then scores on a power run up the middle to score 6 to tkaa the lead 14-13 On Defense we were able to slow down the Maberry offense that is Brody Price Right and Left yes he was able to sneak out of a few tackles and put up some big Runs. For the major part of the game we held their offense to minimal yardage. Some great tackling and extra effort on Defense kept Capstone from scoring and holds on to Win a Fun Game at the Lynden vs Lynden Matchup. GREAT WORK TO ALL LYNDEN PLAYERS.

================================================================================

GAME #4 YEH 27-0 MERIDIAN

Yeh shuts out the meridian jr Team and puts 27 points on the scoreboard! Another Great Display of Defense stepping up and holding the Meridian team to 0 points for the day. We had great open field tackles by many players today Blayden, Grady, Carter Brodey, Dane, Gunner, Joey, Jaxon all made great individual stops, nearly every other Yeh player were in on tackles and helped make it a Total Team Effort. I think many are seeing one of our younger first year players step up on both sides of the ball with A TD Run, Great Blocks, Interception and many tackles Cayden is really showing how much he loves this game, We also had GREAT TD Runs by Lincoln, Gunner, Dane and a Great Extra point reception by Aiden B. We are very proud of our Yeh players for stepping up and learning many new positions each week. We have asked our players what is one of the most important positions on the field, Yes almost all think it is the QB this is partially true but as we explained if the QB doesn't get the ball how good can he be. Today Kane Davis did a great job at Center and our success was because Kane stepped up and really helped our game Great Work Kane.

=================================================================================

GAME #3 Yeh 35-0 Lummi

Yeh team comes out strong on the first play of the game to take the ball away from the Lummi Jr team and that was the start of another Great defensive effort. Then the Offense went to work with a Gunner TD run. 6-0 another stop on D and then it's Brodey for a 80 yard TD run and a Weston PAT 14-0. Another D Stop and Jaxon gets outside and heads to the goal line for another 6 and a Cayden 2 pointer 22-0. The Yeh team was a bit to much for the Jr team from Lummi today and the D stops them again this time Lincoln takes it 65 yards to the goal line for the 28-0 score. With another stop the O was this time Aiden B zigs and Zags to the goal line for 6 and Carter gets the 2 Pointer with a power run up the middle. 35-0 Another Great play was Kai runnning a long one to the goal line but it was called back on a holding penalty. Today was a Great learning experience for all of Yeh players yes we were quite a bit bigger than the Lummi team today, we were able to work on fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork and learning more about this Great Game.

 ==========================================================================================

GAME #2 vs. Nooksack White 13-6

Yeh comes out strong and drives down the field on Runs by Dane, Jaxon, Brodie, Hayden the drive is capped off by a powerful run by Cayden Brown. With a PAT run by Dane Yeh leads 7-0. Great blocking and Defense keeps the field possession in favor of our Yeh team, A great strip of the ball and fumble recovery by Aidan Abercrombie was a big Defensive play along with a Great Carter Erdman 4th down stop. We continue to make improvements with our blocking and tackling fundamentals. To start out the second half Our Offensive line gave us great holes/blocks, we had runs by Dane, Brodie, Jaxon, Gunner and Hayden that moved us down the field then Cayden made another great run cutting in and out and heading to the goal line for another score. 13-7. Then it was field position battle and Yeh kept the Nooksack team from getting close to the goal line. In the 4th QTR Nooksack managed to get around the corner with a few position alignment issues and a great Nooksack run to score making it a 13-6 game Yeh holds Nooksack from the Extra Point. Another Great Take away was a combo Cayden & Jaxon recovery. Yeh holds Nooksack from scoring and gets The Win 13-6 Great Effort Today with many improvements our football fundamentals.

A fairly warm fall day at Blaine HS and our DeKoster players came out and played another Great Game. We asked our defense to not let #33, #7 & #46 score any TD's and this would help us win the game. Yep our players stepped up and allowed only 1 touchdown, GREAT WORK TEAM. We had many great defensive plays, Jaxon with a big fumble recovery and Jayden with a tip drill interception. We are getting much better at going to the ball and bringing the runner down with good tackling techniques. DEKOSTER 24 vs Bellingham Vikings 14
Another warm summer days game was played this one at 9:00 am / WWU and our DeKoster players had a Great Game. Typically our younger teams have had a tough time playing the early games and it looked like that might be the case for a moment or two.as we asked our defense not let Bellingham's #22 score any TD's and we would for sure win the game. Well we stumbled a bit and he was able to break two long TD's. We scored first and even though their RB scored two long ones we mostly held them to very minimal yardage. We are getting much better at going to the ball and bringing the runner down. Again this a team sport and all of our players are making improvements. The Offensive line made some great blocks and continue to help our us be successful and able to move down the field. We had Great TD Runs by Cory and Jayden and nice TD catch by Gunner. Our Defense has allowed 22 points in three games that's just over 7 points per game and that is a Great Number. Great Work Team
UPDATE OUR GAME THIS WEEK IS AT LMS not Lynden High School.

A Great Effort by our Players for most a first time tackle Game Experience. Our Season Will be filled with many great moments for ALL. We have told our players that we will be learning as much as we can in what is a very short period of time. Our Goal is to put players in positions where they can learn and be successful. There are a lot of moving parts of a youth football TEAM, we all continue to learn and grow together, we are very proud of each of our DeKoster players. LTI WINS FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS

 WON 19-6 GAME # 6 vs. Main st Ferndale @ Meridian Middle School

 The weather was great and LTI came out strong. It was one of our best days for coming out and getting after it right from the start. A quick knock down and fumble recovery gets LTI great field position and then a quick score puts LTI on the board.

===============================================================================================

WON 25-6  GAME # 5 vs. Nooksack Purple @ Lynden Middle School

IT WAS A VERY WET GAME TODAY

LTI's DEFENSE SCORES TWICE TODAY....

Our players came out and gave a great effort in less than perfect football conditions. Brody gets a pick 6 and Micah picks up a fumble and returns it for a score. Our players and coaches are working together each week to improve our game. Our up front effort has been the key to our success. A huge Thank You to Carter for his work at center with a good snap we can't make our plays work.

It sure is easy to move forward when we get a good snap and good blocking. Great work To our running backs and receivers for your efforts in hitting the holes and following our blockers.

.GREAT WORK TEAM

===============================================================================================

WON 21-0  GAME # 4 vs. Nooksack White of Nooksack @ Meridian Middle School

Another Great defensive LTI effort today holding Nooksack White Scoreless. It all starts on the Line, when we blow off the ball and  get into their backfield it makes for a very tough day trying to get an ofgfense going.
Our Big lineman had a lot of help today from nearly every LTI  player, Great Work Ethan G, Jadin O, Jase N, Jase P, Angel & Quincy. Just as mentioned above a great starting point for our offense is to get the ball to the QB/RB quickly and clean, then it's all about not letting the Defense get to our backfield and good blocking until the whistle blows. Our players are learning it's not just about size but far more about effort and believing in yourself, pushing forward with all you have.
On the Offense today we had great runs by Cory, Gabe, Micah, Brant all this work is based on the up front effort that continues to be performed many times over in every game by our front line players. With our season at the halfway point we can positively say that our players are much improved from the first day of training camp. Players Please continue to put forth this Great Effort and improvements each day. PRACTICE TIMES CHANGE 5:00-7:00 Next Week and earlier end times each Week!

===============================================================================================

WON 13-0  GAME # 3 vs. Squalicum Concrete of Mt Baker @ Lynden Middle School

A Great Defensive Battle was held this past weekend at LMS. A Cory Olney break away run with a few great blocks get's  LTI on the scoreboard.
For much of the game it was a game it was a back and forth up and down mostly in the center of the field. A Micah TD run was called back on a
questionable block in the back call. LTI held the ball for much of the 3rd and 4th qtrs. With running plays we have far less plays on the day.
Late in the 4th Qtr We had Great O Line blocks from Bennett, Brody, Jayden, Jaden, Quincy, Carson, Carter. And nearly all LTI players.
As we tell our players when on the field Please give 100% it's a lot more fun. During our last long drive We had Runs by Carter, Gabe, Brant,
& Cory. With Brant punching in our second TD and then a Brant to Jonah Extra Point to take a 13-0 Lead and that would be a final
score on the day. When our players play hard we are very hard to stop. On the Defense side we had takeaways from by Cory and
Jayden & each LTI player made many great plays today. It's crazy to think that we have 5 games remaining in our football season
We will continue to give new opportunities for our players based on safety, effort, ability, dedication & commitment. Thank You

Great Work LTI Players

    ==============================================================================================

WON 31-6 GAME # 2 vs. Les Schwab of Mt Baker @ MT Baker HS

LTI Travels to Baker it was an early wake up call for LTI 7:30am at Mt Baker HS and Wake Up LTI Did.

With the rain coming down really coming down LTI came out strong and on the second Play Jadin Oaks recovers a fumble two plays later LTI Brant scores TD and LTI takes a 6-0 lead and never Looks Back. Brant gets a pick 6 and the LTI Defense was to much for the Mt Baker team to overcome. Our D Line was BIG Today led by Bennett, Brody, Jadin, Jayden F, Brant and Gabe. Nearly every play was stopped for minimal yards gained. On Offense Brant and Cory Led LTI down the field great second efforts from our O Line gave great effort that allowed for some big Runs and catches by Cory, Brant, Gabe Jackson and Micah who is very hard to catch on the corner. Not sure if I mentioned how important getting the ball to the QB is! Great Work Carter Seigman. TODAY WAS AN ALL OUT TEAM EFFORT On both the Offense and Defense side's of the ball.

WE CONTINUE TO IMPROVE OUR GAME

GREAT WORK LTI

===============================================================================================

GAME # 1 vs. Interlaced Media of Ferndale @ FHS

LTI Travels to Ferndale and comes up a Short in our first game of the season. LTI’s Offense was led by Brant Heppner and Cory Olney who are quickly learning this game as is the case of the many of our first year LTI players. A Big LTI offensive play was Micah Kroon on a 40 yard LTI touchdown run. Great catches by Jayden Huleatt, Micah, Cory and Brant were additional Great Moments. On the Defensive side of the ball it was a tough day, a few LTI turnovers led to bad field position and the game was really decided on just a couple missed tackles by our defense.

LTI Defensive Leaders Jaden Huleatt, Brody Bouwman,  Jackson Vander Veen, Bennett Roorda, Micah Kroon who had nearly all of the tackles on the day. Final Score Interlaced Media 20-7 LTI.

As mentioned to LTI players it’s lifetime of Learning and we will continue to improve our game each time we take the field Player & Coaches.

Great Work LTI Players

10/17/15

Another very physical game was played last Saturday at Civic field although the score may not reflect the true effort of our players we are truly are proud of our entire team for their efforts on the field today. As mentioned in almost every weekly write up, we continue to improve and learn more about this great game and how to play it. Be the Hammer not the nail.

More coming soon

10/17/15

 LTI vs Nooksack 14-12

Congratulations LTI players on a very physical game played last Saturday at Civic field. We knew this would be a tough game.  On Offense the William to Crew combo was very successful 2 Huge TD scores then the EP’s one to Crew and to Ryan proved to be the difference in the score of today game. We did have some big 1st down receptions To Kole and also Will, Taivin, Jamison,  Gavin and others fighting hard for every yard,  we seemed to have a difficult time with the big’s from Nooksack. Both teams played a great game. Kole was recognized as the BIG Hitter as he came out and made some great tackles on the Noosack Runners. With a few bumps and bruises LTI comes out on top. Yes We have many things to work on from the start of a football season to the end. Many times throughout the season we have stressed the importance of good tackling technique, Staying low, keeping your head up, items that will help reduce chance of injury.Your safety is important. This is a great game it requires extra work, we ask ourselves are we doing all we can? If so That’s all you can do. We truly enjoy the moments we have shared with each player on our Team. Let’s Play Hard and Have Fun

Thank You

 Coach Rick

 10/10/15      GAME 5 PHOTOS NOW POSTED SEE PHOTO TAB!

LTI vs Mt Baker 27-7

An Early wake-up call and LTI comes out hitting hard. Somehow we avoided the big rain as it waited for the afternoon games! The LTI defense kept Baker from crossing the goal line until the last minutes of the game again this week. This weeks Hammer award goes to Matt he continues to get into the backfield and destroy the other Teams plays. Great Work Matt. Our Offense today led by William was hard to stop we had scores by Taivin, Ryan, Crew, Zach, Kole, one of todays game great moments was the kicked PAT as seen on the video posted above. Our players and coaches are proud of that moment as we have not practiced it to many times Great Effort  by ALL. Our Line when choosing to do so is very physical and hard to stop. Not much glory for the players in the trenches but it is a very very important part of this game. Our Players do improve each week and we work hard to help with opportunity for a moment in this Great Game. WE HAVE 3 Games Remaining in this Season.........Wow that went by way to fast. Awards night RSVP Sheets will go out this week and next, also player Vote sheets for Individual Player Voted Awards.

Thank You AGAIN TO ALL LTI Players and Family

Players & Parents,

 LTI comes out strong with back to back weeks where our Defense scores safety’s. LTI TEAM Defense held Blaine to a single score on the day. Huge football hits from every LTI player was our game plan. Ryan Kleindel was LTI’s Big Hitter he helped  lead us to a 28-6 first W of the season. It's great to see so many players gaining confidence and applying what they are learning in practice. LTI offense led by  William & Jamison along with Taivin, Crew, Luke, Kole, Zach, Mason K, Matt, Gavin and more were able to knock off big chunks of yardage. Lets not forget those who play the O/D LINE GREAT WORK Andrew, Case, Coleson, Denver , Gavin,  Jared, Kaden,  Lucas, Matt, Moses, Roman , Ty. The second effort today was huge by each LTI player. We continue to improve our game Go LTI

GREAT WORK

Thank You Coach Rick

09/19/15      GAME 2 PHOTOS NOW POSTED SEE PHOTO TAB!

Players & Parents

It was windy/wet and our LTI TEAM had another rough start to a football game. We strongly feel that the light came on in the second half and our players are now ready to get after it on the football field. with a first half score of 19-0.....LTI offense and Defense scored 17 unanswered points. Although the clock ran out of time and we came up just short of our first win of the season our players stepped up their game. Some Great offensive play came from William, Taivin, Crew, Jamison & others including some big blocks from the O Line. On Defense every player came in and made a huge difference in field position and ball control. Two second half safety's, great tackles and a great second half effort has the entire team fired up. Our Players continue to improve. Yes we have work to do, yep this is part of LIFE's lessons......We are Thankful we have an opportunity to play this great GAME.

 GREAT WORK LTI

Thank You Coach Rick

Players & Parents

A tough start to our football season, but our LTI players came out and gave some great individual efforts. As a team we did not complete some important items that we work on in practice every day. We as coaches needed to make a few adjustments and the final outcome may have generated a more positive result. We had some big hits on the Day from Taivin, Kaden, Roman, Lucas, Jamison, Jared and others. Congratulations to Jared on scooping up the fumble and nearly taking it to the house. We some fun offensive plays and one 4th and long completion from William to Crew was a very positive moment.  Yes we have work to do each week. We truly believe in our players. When we come to practice we work hard and give 100%. This is a contact sport and requires desire, effort and dedication. Our Game Will Improve.

Thank You

Coach Rick

JAMBOREE: Coaches Report,

Yes it started out wet, turned windy and finished warm and sunny although most of the community lost power, It looked like our LTI Football Team kept it going to the last play. As we mostly expected the best match-up of the day would come down to the Whatcom Builders formerly Prostock vs LTI. We tried to show them very little of what we have to offer. What a day LTI had from running the ball, throwing the ball, catching the ball, many great tackles, fumble recovery's, great blocking, especially down field on Offense, one block earned the Hammer award to Gavin, he keeps the Hammer until it is awarded to another player. BIG HITTER be the hammer not the nail. The Jamboree is a great time to learn and we feel that each player gained some valuable learning moments today. As previously mentioned our season will be filled with many of these great moments. Again a huge Thank You to all who support our program. Friendly reminders to look at the calendar for our weekly schedule of activity. Also Thank You Parent for having each Player to the field ON TIME!

 On A Sad Note our season is complete HOLD THAT THOUGHT we will Celebrate EACH PLAYERS Hard Work and Effort put forth this season.

MOST IMPORTANTLY WE THANK EACH OF YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO OUR YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAM!

A HUGE Congratulations goes out to ALL LYNDEN YOUTH FOOTBALL PLAYERS FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION TO THIS GREAT GAME.

Our Season Goal was to Provide a Quality Football Program for our youth that generates a positive outcome in fundamental education, heads Up Tackling, skill development, safe football techniques, positive self-esteem, good sportsmanship, responsibility, participation, positive relationships, quality values and Team Work.

To the best of our ability every attempt was made to be organized, prepared, consistent, safe and fair presenters to the participants of this program. I would like to say on behalf of our entire Coaching Staff that we truly enjoyed the opportunity to work with each of these great young men and each of you. WE Thank Each player for their dedication and hard work. We hoped/tried to help each player have a Great moment "IF TODAY WASN'T A PLAYER DAY TOMORROW WILL BE" Continue to work hard and enjoy every moment. Every LTI Player has an opportunity to improve and become better football players. This is a physical game that needs to played with a bit of on field aggression.

WE TRULY HOPE THAT EACH OF YOU ENJOYED THIS FOOTBALL SEASON.

 ======================================================================================

 10/25/14 FINAL GAME OF OUR SEASON LTI vs. Capstone Lynden........LTI 8-0 WON!

 On the final game of the season LTI players battled some rain and a very muddy LMS football field but Comes out the winner over a very good LYNDEN Capstone team. ALL LTI Players played a big part in the victory today! The game was ball control and field position. Capstone held the ball for most of the first qtr but our LTI D put up many huge defensive stops. LTI players kept capstone from scoring on that long first drive and each time they held the ball. This was the first time Capstone was shut out all Season. One of the Biggest plays on D was a well executed D coverage and Safety by Gavin to give us the 8-0 lead with minimal time left on the clock. BIG LTI PLAY MAKERS on D today were Matt, Taivin, Ryan, Kaleo, Zach Gavin, Roman, Isaac, Kaleo, ZachLincoln, Riley, Eli, Lane, Tyler, Luke S, Blake, Briggs, Clayton, Kai, Coleson, Luke W, Isaiah. On Offense LTI played a classic old school game of straight ahead on the ground football. We had huge Blocks and Runs by every player on our TEAM some great second efforts by our ball carriers Taivin, Kaleo, Gavin, Ryan, Matt, Colson, were HUGE.....Did we mention our Blockers. LTI players learned over the season that a block on the outside/inside is just as important as a run a pass a catch. In the old days they called a game like this smash mouth football, today this may not politically correct and is NOT how we teach the game to be played well Kinda. We do teach players to be the hammer and not the nail. As the season moved forward all players were able to figure out what this really means!                  GREAT GREAT WORK TO EACH OF OUR PLAYERS! and TO THE MANY PERSONS WHO HELPED OUR PROGRAM EACH WEEK!

FINAL SEASON RECORD 6-2 with our only losses to the first and second place Teams.....

 We Wish Each Player The Very Best As this Season Ends And The Next Begins What Ever They Choose To Play

Coaches Nyles, Mark, Lloyd, Aaron & Rick

 ======================================================================================

10/18/14 GAME # 7 vs. Prostock  6-31 L

LTI Comes out strong and gives 100% on the football field. The score does not reflect the effort each player gave on the field.
We had great second and third efforts moving down the field but came up short on a few tries. The great Efforts by Kaleo, Taivin
Gavin, Ryan, Matt, Roman, Luke, Briggs and others were huge. The Lone TD came from a great second and third effort run by Taivin.
Yes we gave up a few big plays but we put some good hits on them and made many great defensive plays a few players that
we would like to recognize are Coleson, Ryan, Luke W, Luke S, Briggs, Isaac, Zach, Tyler, Eli &  Roman  Great Work
Wow how quick the season comes and goes. Each of our players made great improvements this season some had a few
moments and others had many. It's up to each player to come out with the intention of learning and being ready to work

"THESE ARE YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYERS EACH IS MAKING GREAT IMPROVEMENTS                                             " IF TODAY ISN'T THEIR DAY MAYBE TOMORROW WILL BE!

GREAT WORK

Coach Rick

10/11/14 GAME # 6 vs. Triple S   47-6 WON

LTI wins first round playoff game What a great Day for football and total team effort at Civic field. From the start of the game till the horn sounded LTI was hitting hard on Defense and executing on Offense

Another Great Day for football and LTI comes out strong vs. Triple S @ civic field.  On the offensive side of the ball Kaleo leads LTI
down the field with Great Pass and Run play calling, did we mention it's nice to have Taivin in the backfield on offense oh & Def.
A Huge effort came from the front line blocking of Clayton, Luke W, Roman, Briggs, Matt, Isaac, Luke S, Isaiah, Coleson & Gavin.
Another great effort was our WR blocking on the outside to lock up the corners great work to Zach, Lane, Lincoln, Gavin, Tyler, Ryan.
Offensive Touchdowns on the day came from Taivin, Gavin, Kaleo, Ryan. Extra Points by Eli, Lincoln & Kaleo great work.
On Defense multiple takeaways and great team tackling led to the 5th win of the season, onebroken play led the Jamison 70 yd TD
Taivin has a pick 6 to go with his two TD's and played an outstanding game along with Taivin was Roman, Gavin, Matt, Ryan
Lane, Briggs, Isaac, Zach, Isaiah, Kaleo, Tyler, Luke S & W, Matt, Eli, Coleson, Blake, Clayton All contributed to todays WIN!

Thank You Coach Rick

======================================================================================

10/04/14 GAME # 5 vs. Blaine   26-0 WON

LTI comes out strong against Blaine!  Another great football game was played by our LTI players. The LTI offense comes out firing on all cylinders. Great Pass plays by Kaleo to Lincoln & Zach moved us down the field for a couple scores, As far as running the ball Taivin, Isaiah, Ryan, Gavin, Lane,  Kaleo,
 Eli all gave great efforts on the football field. Our Defense was hitting very hard Blaine had only two plays moving the ball down the field, One Taivin stopped at the 1 yard line and then the entire D Line blew up the next play and took the ball away…
Another huge play was when Zach made a saving tackle on a stripped ball. Two other huge plays were interceptions from Isaac & Gavin, as for Hard Hits there were many Taivin, Roman, Eli, Isaac,  Coleson, Luke S, Tyler, Zach, Briggs, isaiah and others.
LTI had multiple takeaways and great team tackling wich led to our third shutout of the season. This Week LYS & LTI have selected Gavin Scott for his hard
work, dedication, football attitude and extra effort. Great Work this season Gavin :)

   Great Work

 Coach Rick

  ======================================================================================

09/27/14 GAME # 4 vs. Ferndale   0 -26 L

Early wakeup call and LTI suffers it's first loss of the season!  First and most importantly our thoughts and prayers to the VanDalen family on a speedy recovery  for Grandpa Van Dalen
God Speed.  LTI & Ferndale capstone came out and played a very physical game. For the majority of the game our LTI players covered the defensive assignments and stopped forward
progress. LTI held a very good team to their lowest point total of the season as well as giving one of ferndale the most physical game that they have played to date per their coach.
 Capstone was held to 7 points the second half to go with LTI's 6 . A huge shout out to our players for their hard  work and commitment. Todays LTI's big hitters were  Taivin, Ryan, Luke W
 Gavin, Kaleo, Roman, Isaac, Isaiah Matt and more. It was a very tough day for the LTI offense scoring only one TD But our players gave a great effort and learned valuable football /
life lessons out on the football field.

 WE CONTINUE TO IMPROVE

Great Work

 Coach Rick

09/20/14 GAME # 3 vs. Nooksack   19-0 WON

YES another Hot Summer day and we are very Thankful to have these. LTI Offense & Defense played another outstanding game.
The offense came out and drove down the field with some great play calling, execution and power running. The offense led by Kaleo with power running Taivin, Ryan, Kaleo, Lane
also let's throw in some receptions, one huge catch and run by Lincoln was capped by a little bit of extra of love!!!! Great Pass, catch, run. Zach makes another great XP catch.
 As many of you have seen LTI defense brings their A game each week our many of our players are the hammer and not the nail .  Each week we try to move players around to give them  learning

moments.  At times it may seem a bit crazy but the bottom line is they seem to have fun and are usually in the right spots to make plays. Speaking of making plays, Coleson, Taivin, Matt, Roman

Gavin, Ryan, Kaleo, Isaiah, Lane, Isaac, Eli, Kai and many other players helped keep Nooksack from crossing the goal line . Next week will be a much bigger test as we play the better Ferndale team.
 Coaches are confident in our players ability to compete with any team in this league, we just have to want to do it! play like we practice! Practice Hard..... Play Hard,,,,,,
   Waterboys, Chain Crew, Photographers Jerry Kok, LC School District & LTI Family's we Thank You

Great Work

09/13/14 GAME # 2 vs. Meridian   34-6 WON

 Another hot summer day! LTI players executed Offense and Defense very well today. Other than one play for Meridians Offense the LTI Team Defense was great, we kept the outside contained, blowing up run plays, intercepting the ball, stripping and recovering fumbles WOW what a Team Effort. It's hard to name one Player in a Team Sport. Every player is improving and making progress in this great game. One LTI Player that stepped up huge today for LTI was Kaleo Jandoc leading the offense down the field, adding tackles and an interception on D great work Kaleo. LTI's Offense had many players take part in todays win Taivin, Eli, Kai, Matt, Gavin, Isaac, Isaiah, Lane, and others. WE had great blocking on the line as well as on the outside corner. Thank You to Dawson and Pete for the continued work keeping the H2O coming to our players.

Great Work

09/06/14 GAME # 1 vs. Dawson   13-0 WON

 A Great Start to our Season on hot summer day! LTI players kept the Dawson team from scoring and limited their offense to minimal positive yards. The Defensive line was led by Roman who was a huge defensive play maker at our D end positions Matt and Taivin kept the ball from getting outside along with corners Kaleo & Gavin. Big Tackles by Matt, Roman, Ryan, Gavin, Taivin, Kaleo, Isaiah, Issac, Luke W & Coleson helped shut down Last Years league champions. A strip and Fumble recovery by Matt kept the zero score on the board. Our offense was led by Kaleo and LTI executed many of the plays we have learned/practiced the last few weeks. Great runs By Taivin, Ryan, Kaleo & Gavin were sure fun to watch. Yes we will continue learn and give our players many opportunity's have a moment in this great game. A huge Thanks to The Burrows & Winterberg family's for the Juice and snacks. Our day was not a success without our dedicated water staff of Ddawg and Pete they get our players watered down and ready to get back at it! Dawson Kindly pointed out to coaches that we were running low on water and did run out at the end of regulation great work Boyz.
