The GBFHL lockout has officially ended. The season begins tomorrow night with the Stockholm Blades taking on the Newfoundland Vikings at 8:30, while the Arizona Jets and Boston Creams go head to head at 9:30. Going to be an exciting night of floor hockey!
LOCKOUT ENDING
The GBFHL lockout is coming to an end. Commissioner Zack Politte has announced his return to the league and is in full effect of getting the league back to normal. Stephen MacGillivray Co-Commissioner has described the lockout as "painful to watch". Politte says its time to give the fans what they want. Grizzled veterans are returning from overseas and are excited to get back into action!
Jets players not safe?
GM Larry Summerell has made it clear that no Jets player is safe leading up to Wednesday's trade deadline. Jets have had a rocky start and would like some help. Jets looking to get back on top of the GBHFL with the franshise's third championship trophy.
Players Retiring in the GBFHL.
This season has brought many legends careers come to an end. Tough Forward Micheal Gouthro announced his retirment this off season. He had a great career and his jersey will be hung to the rafters at the Creams arena this year. Also verteran Defensmen Ryan Blois announced his retirment this year. After winning the GBFHL's first ever Norris trophy he had a great career and will go down as one of the best Defensemen to play. His jersey will be hung up in the Creams rink this season also.
