Spring 2026 is now open for Clinic (Tball), & Del Val, 8u, 10u, 12u! Our Del Val program is designed to introduce players to a higher level of competition while focusing on skill-building, teamwork and player growth. There will be home games and light travel to other Del Val teams in neighboring townships. This program allows players the opportunity to challenge themselves in a supportive, structured environment. 

Chichester Thunder Girls Softball is a private non-profit organization serving the community of Chichester and surrounding areas including but not limited to Upper Chichester, Linwood, Trainer, Marcus Hook, Aston, Garnet Valley & Claymont DE. 

As we prepare for another great season, we are seeking volunteers. Like all youth organizations, we rely on the support of our community to operate smoothly. As working parents ourselves, we understand how valuable your time is, and any amount of volunteer help is welcomed and greatly appreciated.  Help us help your child have the best season ever!

Do you have a high schooler who needs NHS volunteer hours? Send them over! We have numerous opportunities available.

T-Ball & Del Val Program information

Clinic-Tball

This program is designed for ages 5-6 years old.  Designed to give an introduction to softball teaching fundamentals in a fun atmosphere.  Practices usually 1-2 times per week for 45 minutes. If there is enough interest, we can create interim teams and will play each other, at our home fields in the Chichester area. 

Del Val Program

DelVal is a rec level light travel league for 8u, 10u, & 12u players. The player's age as of January 1st will determine which team she will play on. Del Val games will be played both at home and some away games at surrounding communities. Practices start in March weather permitting and season starts April-June. All practices and home games will be located in Marcus Hook.
