2025 League Information

All league scores should be reported within 24 hours.

Teams will play four 12-minute quarters with a 2-minute break between the first and second quarters, third and fourth quarters, and a 5-minute halftime break.  Teams do NOT have timeouts.  The clock will be stopped after each goal unless one team is winning by 5 or more goals.  At that time, the clock will not be stopped unless the goal differential drops below 5. The away team should wear white socks and jerseys if they have them, and the home team should wear black socks and jerseys if they have them.

There will be a 5-minute sudden victory for the regular season games that are tied after regulation time has expired.  The overtime will be 5 minutes, with each team reducing the number of players to 7 (six and a goalie) per side.  If still tied, the game will end in a tie.

During gameplay, penalty strokes will be used if a flagrant foul occurs, deeming a stroke a call.

Tournament Play

The top 6 teams will make the playoffs.  The top 2 teams will receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs.  Teams must complete 70% of their schedule to be eligible for the playoffs.

Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss.  If two teams are tied based on points at the end of the season, then the tiebreaker will be:

1) Head-to-Head

2) Goal differential between the teams involved

3) Total wins against top seeds

4) Goals against (Total)

5) Coin Flip

Playoff Games

Teams will play four 12-minute quarters with a 2-minute break between the first and second quarters, third and fourth quarters, and a 5-minute halftime break.  Teams DO NOT have timeouts.  The clock will be stopped after each goal unless one team is winning by 5 or more goals.  At that time, the clock will not be stopped unless the goal differential drops below 5.  The away team should wear white socks and jerseys if they have them.

If the score is tied after regulation time has expired, overtime will be 5 minutes of sudden victory with each team reducing the number of players to 7 (six and a goalie) per side.  If the score remains tied after the first overtime, a second 5-minute sudden victory will occur with each team reducing the number of players to 7 (six and a goalie).

If the score remains tied after the second overtime period, 1 v 1's will occur.  Each team will give a list of 5 players (the order they will take their 1 v 1's).  The ball will be placed on the 25-yard line.  Play continues for 10 seconds or until one of the following conditions is met:

1) The attacker commits an offensive foul

2) The goalkeeper commits an intentional offense - the 1 v 1 is retaken

3) If the goalkeeper commits an intentional offensive foul, a penalty stroke will be awarded

4) The ball goes out of play, or over the end line or sideline

5) The offensive team scores

  • Before overtime, there shall be a 5-minute intermission.
  • During intermission, the official meets with the captain for a coin toss.
  • The visiting team captain calls the coin toss, and the winner chooses the direction or possession to begin the tie-breaker.
  • If a player/coach was disqualified (red card) during the regulation game, that Team must play short throughout the overtime.  If a player/coach was suspended with a green/yellow card during a regulation game, the Team shall play short until the suspension time is completed.
  • Once the overtime has started, any disqualification or suspicion shall result in the team playing short and shall carry over for the duration of the overtime period.  That player is disqualified from participating in the 1 v 1's.
  • There will be NO team timeouts.
  • On penalty corners, the defending team is permitted to have 4 players behind the goal (3 field players & a goalkeeper).

The Home team will pay for the officials, and the Away team will provide transportation.
