The Court Kings Basketball Academy is a non-profit organization that utilizes basketball to reach out to student athletes within our community. We currently have approximately 45 student athletes at our academy that are passionate about basketball. The academy believes in providing a safe and sanctioned place for our students to exercise, socialize and develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives. Our organization is dedicated to the process of making that happen but we need your help.
The Court Kings Basketball Academy can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from members of our community. Without these donations, serving those in our area would not be possible. Economic times are tough and family budget constraints make it even more of a challenge to provide funding for tutoring, gym rental use, basketball league play and uniforms. As a non-profit organization we rely on support from our community. The funding from your donation will bring us closer to achieving our goals. Our current fundraising goal is to find either individual or team sponsorship for uniforms at a cost of $200 per athlete that includes a reversible jersey and basketball shorts. We appreciate any type of contribution to our program either monetary, or goods and services. Our non-profit number # 81-4901690. Every uniform sponsorship company/family name will be on the back of uniform for life as sincere in honor of generosity by helping accomplish our goal!

Mission Statement
Mission Statement
Court Kings Basketball Academy will provide a safe, friendly and exciting environment that will promote self-discipline and fundamentals of being a student athlete. Students will learn to develop a core foundation for work ethics in basketball which can be applied to everyday life.
Court Kings Basketball Academy will give opportunity for youth of all ages, starting from 8 years of age through high school to participate in the training curriculum. The curriculum will help our youth in the community learn teamwork and true sportsmanship. Our goal is to provide a strong platform for all youth to succeed in sports, academics and life beyond college.
Training Sessions

Training sessions will be held at minimum of 2 days per week, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

2 hours will be dedicated to basketball fundamental training consisting of drills and scrimmages.

PRACTICE/TRAINING SESSION AGENDA
- Defensive Skills- Communication, Ready Stance, Point Stance, Stick Stance, Step Slide, Swing, Deny Stance, Pistols Stance, Closeouts, Post Defense, Cover Downs, Rebounding, Taking the Charge.
- Team Defensive Concepts- Line Concept, Line of Ball Concept, Stepping Up and Helping, Deny Stance, On the Ball Screens, Off the Ball Screens, Transition Defense, Full Court Man Rules, Run & Jump Rules, Zone & Zone Trap, Full Court Press & Half Court Press.
- Offensive Skills- Communication, Passing, Catching, Dribbling, Jump Stop, Lay-Ups, Shooting, Rebounding and Outlet, Pitching Ahead, Filling Lanes, Finishing the Break, Secondary Break, Into Offense From the Break, Pass & Cut, Spacing, Read Line, Dribble At "Penetration Dribble", Motion, 5 Out, 4 Out 1 In, Zone Offense, Out of Bounds Plays.
SPRINGTIME/SUMMERTIME

CKBA will host 3 vs 3 Basketball League & 3 vs 3 Annual Basketball Tournaments for Youth & Adults.
- We will participate in Cal Swoosh, Swoosh Basketball, Sports Academy, Spring-Summer-Fall League.
