Chris Spangler

Head Coach

Coach Spangler has has had the privilege of coaching youth, high school, collegiate and professional lacrosse teams throughout Colorado. He is also the Director of Champions Lacrosse Academy

As a player, Coach Spangler won a state championship with East-Manual and as a coach with Arapahoe and Cherry Creek.

Additional highlights include:

Major League Lacrosse champion in 2014, 2016 and 2018 with the Denver Outlaws.
3 Colorado high school lacrosse championships (East Manual 1990, Arapahoe 2009, Cherry Creek 2019).
Coached 13 collegiate All Americans, 6 high school All Americans and 42 All Conference players.
First Defensive Coordinator for the University of Denver during their transition to Division I.
2nd team All-State player 1991 East Manual High School.
Qualified for national tournament all 3 years while Head Coach at the University of Colorado.
Top 10 national coach for CoachUp (2020)
RMILL Coach of the Year while at CU (1999)
