Coach Flores bring a wealth of coaching experience, as he is currently a Certified High School Baseball/ Football/Track Coach at Southwest Legacy High School. He previously held positions as an assistant baseball coach at South San High School, for 13 years, and was a head coach at Lee High School for one year. Homer graduated from UIW in 2002 with his Masters and in 1999 with a BA. After high school, he attended Missouri Valley College for two years and played 3rd base for the Vikings. Coach Flores is a product of Lanier High School, and was a standout pitcher and middle infielder for the Voks.

Coach Flores truly enjoys working with kids on the baseball field or in the classroom. Besides his love of baseball, he also love to fish and hunt.

Homer is married to his lovely wife April Flores, and they have two children; Bethany and Homer (Lobos-2021 alum)
