Coach Elias is the assistant coach of the MD Eagles. He has been coaching for over 30 years in three different countries – Iran, Germany, and the United States. Along with his coaching experience, Coach Elias was a six-time Iranian National Champion, High School World Champion 1978, Junior World Runner-Up, Olympic Moscow 1984 alternate and World Shoot Fighting Champion. In college, Coach Elias was a two-time National Champion for University of Nebraska at Kearney, Division II. He is also University of Nebraska at Kearney and NCAA Division II Wrestling Hall of Fame. He is the Head Coach at Bullis School and works in the Athletic Department as a physical education teacher. His son is a Bullis 3rd grader and will wrestle for the Eagles and Patriots.
