Coach Evartt is a 1984 Graduate of Grapevine High School. He then graduated from Texas Christian University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a minor in English. He and his wife Christi, the school nurse at North Euless Elementary, live in Bedford with their two children: Brianna and Austin . Coach Evartt began his first year at Trinity in 1998 as the assistant baseball coach and was named head coach in January 2003. Prior to coming to Trinity High School, Coach Evartt was the athletic coordiator at Euless Jr. High. He is a 24 year veteran in education, spending his entire career in the H-E-B Independent School District. Coach Evartt is an English teacher at THS and also serves as an assistant coach on the Trinity football team.
