I grew up, and lived my whole life in the Bronx. Growing up as a child, I constantly saw a lot of negative activity around me, and I instantly knew that I did not want to go down that road. To stay away from the wrong crowd, I constantly tried to take part in extracurricular activities. Playing sports was my safe haven. I fell in love with the game of football at a very early age. I've played football on various levels, and even successfully made the first tryouts for a professional indoor arena football team called The New Jersey Revolution. I eventually grew a passion for Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement. I am now 25 years old, and I work as an investigator for CVS Pharmacy's. As I look back at my childhood, I realize how fortunate I was to have positive figures and role models who groomed me into being the man that I am today. I now know the importance of keeping children out of trouble, and on the right path. It may sound cliché, but it's true. Children are the future. I want to give the children in our community the same positive leadership I received from my childhood role models. This is my first time coaching football, and I am so excited. Everyday I look forward to practice. I want to dedicate my life to being a positive figure in our community that young people can look up to and emulate. More over, I want to be a shining example to the young men that I will be coaching, and be able to give them positive motivation in life, on and off the football field. My main goal is to not only be there as a coach, but also as a life mentor. GO TIGERS!
