  | Here we go everyone everything is settled except for the Prep Bowl results ( CC vs Delasalle). Tomorrow we will know who is in our respective Districts and who r first round matchups will be.
There will be some great 1st round play.. and I look forward to seeing who these teams will be. Im thinking we (the OAA) have a great chance to make some noise and silence some of the critics. Come on in here with ur matchups and lets analyze, dissect, and talk about them. Get your crstal ball out and get ready to predict some scores. Some have nailed it on their predictions of previous games .... so BRING IT! If u have a Playoff take I (we) want to hear it.

  | way to keep things going boon! This mornings freep has DLS being the highest enrollment in d2. Milford was the cut for d1. It also has 19 5-4 teams in. In d1, Ike, Franklin, BC Central and Milford are in. Don't know about D2 or D3. This will stir things up. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same d1 district as last year with LO vs Ike, Clarkston vs Romeo. Ike is a pure passing team with a small defense. Romeo is a spread offense, the QB is very small and can't pass out of the pocket and their RB is big, strong and fast. Defense looks to be their weak spot giving up many points. Ike beat them with the pass. Clarkston will show them speed they never saw this year. I like a clarkston/LO rematch (same ol thing every year). Don't have any clue about the other districts.

Lake Orion will host Grand Blanc... and thump them.
Clarkston is at Romeo, a very winnable game for them.
Troy and West Bloomfield have their hands full, big time.

Walled Lake Western will be Adams first victim on the '08 playoffs.
Avondale is at Lakeland, could get ugly.
Farmington get it's chance to pay Southfield back for a 35-20 loss in week 1... I look for the Jays to advance.

Ferndale will host both district games, if they can get by St Clair Shores Lake Shore. They should have no trouble.
Lapeer West is at Bloomfield Lahser, who should paste the Panthers.
Ferndale and Lahser would hook up in the regional final, providing they win their respective district.

  | I didn't mean to sound as if Troy and West Bloomfield aren't capable of pulling off a victory. Both teams have a good shot of winning on the road against Warren Mott and Detroit Henry Ford.

  | Hey Gents... I got a feeling this area is going to fill up with posts ... soon.
Good stuff upandover..D1 with 19 5-4 teams??..WOW! We finally solved the Delasalle issue...D2 great now Adams will play them and beat them (I hope) and put this CHSL Bravado to rest.
Scout if u r 100% sure about those 1st round matchups Im liken the Clarkston ve Romeo Farmington vs Southfield matchups, and the Avondale vs Lakeland matchups.
It appears Lahser and Ferndale from the Blue have the easiest route to Regionals.

  | Ya know Scouts ,
We have the toughest D2 Regional with top rated Delasalle in it.
I had Adams playing BBR in the 1st round ... so I was prepared for that possibility. This is a great 1st round matchup one of the best 1st round matchups in the state.
If Adams gets out of their district & regional they have a great chance to make it to the title game. I am still intersted in the the matchups I mentioned previously.
I am thinking the CHSL may be a little overated this year and the west is yet to feel the best from the east side.
Guess the PLAYOFF SHOW will be kinda anticlimatic huh!?!?! LOL

  | Scouts,
As HS said the Farmington vs Southfield game is going to be a bit closer this time around as its seems the the youngsters on Farmington's line have matured certainly an improved team.
Lakeland will be introduced to some high octane offense OAA style. I don't think those guys in the KVAA have seen this kind of offense. Will Avondale's defense hold on for the win?
I believe we will really set the tone over in the MAC with LO beating IKE and Clarkston showing Romeo its played over here. Would not be suprised if WB or Troy springs a big upset. Yea Im eating some corn bread but hey u never know!?!
