| West Bloomfield @ Troy Athens- West Bloomfield coming off of two really bad losses on their home turf, and now fighting for a playoff spot the rest of the way will give Athens all they can handle... However the Red Hawks will pull it off in the end (Athens by 10)
Lake Orion @ Troy- Troy is coming off a very impressive performance against West Bloomfield. Line is huge, and they have a great running attack with Both of their running backs and very athletic quarterback. These 3 combined make for a dangerous situation for the Dragons. However, Charette and The Dragons will be looking to pick apart troy through the air... They'll succeed but not enough to stop the colts, I'm gonna catch some heat for this one (Troy by 3)
Clarkston @ Rochester- Not much to say about this one, Clarkston has proven week in and week out they're the best in the red, They're ready for their Crossover. Unfortunately for us OAA Fans that game is 2 weeks away. (Clarkston by 17)
Royal Oak @ Pontiac- Although Royal Oak has improved this year, they're going to pick up a pontiac team on it's homecoming game. On the plus side Wisner Stadium is a great venue to watch a highschool football game, and play in a game as well. (Phoenix by 30)
I know open these games up for discussion -)

| There is 1 thing NOT open for discussion and that would be .... What a great job u did on this wk 6 predictions fo the Red.
Colts beating the Dragons NOW that would make the headlines in Troy!!! I don't see this happening but who knows and what Great win it would be for the Colts.
So u see Red Hawks beating Troy to make the playoffs?

| This is how i see it shaping up for rest of the season in the very much wide open Red, except for Clarkston of course, their number 1 spot is pretty secure...
Week 6: Troy win (4-2, 4-1) LO loss (4-2, 4-1) Troy Athens win (5-1, 4-1) WB loss(2-4, 2-3) Clarkston win (4-2, 4-1) Rochester Loss (1-5, 0-5) Pontiac Win (3-3, 2-3) Royal Oak loss (1-5, 0-5)
Week 7: Clarkston win (5-2, 5-1) RO loss (1-6, 0-6) LO win (5-2, 5-1) TA loss (5-2, 4-2) Troy win (5-2, 5-1) Pontiac loss (3-4, 2-4) WB win (3-4, 3-3) Rochester loss (1-6, 0-6)
Standings would then be: Clarkston LO Troy Troy Athens WB Pontaic Rochester Royal Oak
Which if things stay the same in white would force these X-overs
Week8: (Top 4 teams) Harrison Win Clarkston Loss (5-3, 5-1) Troy Athens Win (6-2, 4-2) Farmington loss Adams win Troy Loss (5-3, 5-1) LO win (6-2, 5-1) Southfield Loss
Week 9: Clarkston win (6-3, 6-1) LO loss (6-3, 5-2) Troy Win (6-3, 6-1) Athens loss (6-3, 4-3)
Sure this is 3 weeks ahead of time, but I dont know it's just a few predictions for the rest of the year... Gives us a little drama in the usually two man race in the red...

| Lake Orion beating Troy 10 of the last 11 years would make me uneasy predicting Troy to win. There will be opportunity for them to do so this year. Last time Troy won (I believe '07) It was in a similar setting, and at Troy.
They have a shot, I'm not sure the Colts can pull it off.

| Boon, I think I mentioned this before somewhere, I do believe the Troy/Athens game will have a playoff spot on the line. Winner gets in, loser goes home. Should make for an intense game!

| oaafb22 again good job. I like these scenarios. So u see both Troy and Athens getting in @ 6-3.
Well both teams will have to be on their game to get in the play offs. The x over games and rival game will be critical to both teams. I could just as easy end up both teams @ 5-4 missing the playoffs. Sooo well see!
Stich .. no matter what happens ur right that the rival game between Troy and Athens will intense, important, and critical to both teams!

| Anything can happen on any given day in this league. Boon, you're right, Troy and Athens could both end up missing playoffs if they don't play as well as they can. One slip up here and one slip up there very easily may have both of them be on the outside looking in. Should be exciting to watch. Rivalries are always instense and action packed.

| I will say it here. No way Troy beats Lake Orion. Troy has no passing game. If they did, they would be really good.

| Troy had and impressive win over West Bloomfield? How is that impressive? I'm sorry but WB is a terrible team. The only thing that was impressive about WB was that they had Stoney (from 97.1) as the announcer at the game. LO was up 21-0 in the first quarter.

| Oxford has no passing game and they destroyed Lake Orion. I'm thinking LO beats Troy, but Troy definetly has a chance of winning that game.
I have not seen Troy this year. From what I have heard, they have a big offensive line and good running game, sounds very similiar to Oxford.....anyone confirm?

| I'm not sure about the strength of Troy's running game. Against Clarkston they had 18 total yards in the first half and it wans't until it was 28-0 that Clarkston put in some second team players and Troy started moving the ball a bit. They have no passing game at all and their D-Line is very small. I see LO winning by a couple of touchdowns.

| Lake Orion is the one team I haven't seen yet, and probably will Friday unless the Tigers have a home game. Troy isn't a great team, but they are good. They should give just about anyone they play a decent battle. I still feel Lake Orion win this game, very interested to how though.

| I know this really doesn't mean a whole lot, but check this out. Common opponents.
Royal Oak: Troy 56-20 L.O. 49-14
West Bloomfield Troy 42-13 L.O. 42-14
Rochester Troy 31-10 L.O. 35-7
I see a lot of real similar results... maybe this will be an evenly matched game, or at least a lot closer than a lot of people think? Who knows.

| Stich, How about these stats: Ave OFF DEF Lake Orion ................. 37.2 17.6 Troy........................ 29.0 18.2
Once again match up pretty well. Lk Orions offense averages a 7 points Troy's offense ..may be the differnce maker in the game.

| Man how frustrating trying to form a simple paragraph above all screwed up ...no way to know until u post!!
ANYWY
Lake Orions offense averages a about a touch down more than Troy's offense! While Troy's Defense gives up a point more on ave per game!
Slight advantage to Lk Orion to win this match up

| I agree and give the slight edge to L.O.
If you look outside the common opponents, I would have to say Troy has played two tougher teams in Clarkston and Romeo, than Lake Orion playing Oxford and Pontiac.
Not to take anything away from Oxford and their huge win vs Orion, but I believe both Clarkston and Romeo would beat Oxford on the field.
Should be a good one!

| Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. Reminds me of Grand Blanc idiots beating their chests last year after DESTROYING Clarkston. "We blew out Clarkston, LO 'barely' beat Clarkston, so we should blow out LO." Remind me the score of that district final matchup? I honestly forget.
