Tonight's game he had Hutslar playin alot. Think he is reading this board? I hope so. Maybe somebody here can teach him how to coach if we get stuck with him for another year. In my opinion it's time Paoli school system stop being political and start hiring people based on their credentials not their last name.

The football coach is about to get fired for his record. I can't see yours is any better. If one coach is fired for a losing record then the school board should do the right thing and fire both of them.

meat, we both know this is never going to happen. joe will not be fired, but should be,his dad will see to that. we beat north harrison, but joe tried to give it away by coaching. sit down and shut up sibbitt.it kills me to see a lineup work and then he goes away from it and may not see it again. hutslar, weikert, and emerick would be having a great year in another program, but not here. i would have loved to of seen what north harrison would of done with a lineup of 6'7,6'5, and 6'4. probably pissed down there pants and lost by about 20.one game left, and although i see improvment out of a few players, the coach has not improved. we are still puting all our hopes in a point guard that won't pass, who plays NO defense, and he is definetly the "I" in our team. the rest of the seniors are not doing that bad, so sibbitt when you sit down and shut up, set your kid next to you, you two can talk about how great you are. now, i'm sorry about all the bashing, hentrup under the right coach could be great, it's just a bad deal for him to.i'm sure he is doing what he is told, but come on screw sibbitt and play ball. is ther a firejoesibbitt.com yet , maybe someone should start one up.

I think that maybe we are a little to down on Hentrup. He does not shoot that many shots that are illadvised and it is no secret that he is the best scorer, by far, for the rams team. I think that he plays very hard and he wants to win as bad as anyone else on the team and if that meant him scoring 4 points I know he would do it. Hentrup averaged 17 points a game last year and he hated the whole experience because the team lost. Hentrup feels the pressure of needing to carry the team on his shoulders, weather or not that is what he has to do is not the point. Hentrup has been let down by his teamate and although he would never say it he still has trouble giving up the ball to people he is not sure will get the job done. This is not the way a team is supposed to work but it is the combination of a few bad seasons and some poor coaching. Look at the field goal attempts in the past few games, Hentrup is not shooting that many more than some of the other players. Let's not get down on the best player on the rams team. He plays his heart out every single game and wants to win more than anyone.

Hentrup is shooting almost 31 percent of all shots by the rams on the year, yet he only averages about 2 assist per game, i'm just saying little white shooters are a dime a dozen, he needs to show a little defense and alot of good passing.

31% of the shots is not that much for the best player to be attempting. I would guess that if you went back and checked the stats that Seacat was attempting a whole lot more than 31% of his teams shots and rightfully so. Hentrup is not a great defender but he does work at it. Part of the problem is that he has never really be coached as to the proper ways to defend. Overall the rams defense has been pretty good through out the season. Hentrup is a hard worker who always brings his best effort every night. For that he should be given credit. Good Luck Rams!

#99, hentrup is a nice player, but he's no Seacat.just think what seacat could have done with a coach that builds you offense arround him, and him only. probably about 30ppg. seacat could defend and would. other players may have picked up a foul or two helping out, but everyone gets fouls from hentrup's man. and yes he has not been coached well on D, but I think joe tells him not to defend to hard to avoid fouling out of a game. you have to play offense with 5 players, and you have to play defense with 5 players.

Big Will,
You're right Hentrup is no Seacat but Evan didn't play a whole lot of defense back in his day either. Why do you think he isn't getting any playing time at Northwestern now....it's because he is a liablity on the defensive end. The rams did finally run Hentrup off of some double screens and he got some more open looks which opened thigns up for everyone against CC. I think Hentrup needs to keep getting the ball and looking to make things happen and then he can kick it out or dish it off to the open man. Good luck rams, win sectional

99, first of all seacat is getting a full ride at a big ten school, and one of the best academic colleges in the nation. he has done paoli proud, even if paoli is not supporting him. why can't you buy a northwestern hat or shirt at the paoli wal-mart, or any place? the paoli paper should cover all the paoli athletes, and what they are doing in college. enough of that. i understand that you don't put your scorer on a good player on the defensive end. but who you guard, you should guard the best you can. i think hentrup played the best defense he has played all year against crawford, although he still plays good d for a second or two, then he will let them go by him. our perimeter defense is getting better, and it better continue to get better the rest of the season, becouse how far we go depends on this.i think hentrup has been a good player for paoli, but i just wanted a little bit more out of him. he could be a well rounded player insted of just a scorer.he see's the floor so well he could avg. about 8-10 assist per game,to go along with his 17 pts.,alot better than the 2 he averages.

Big Will,
I do support Evan and I believe he has done paoli proud but he was not great defender ever! He was more athletic than Hentrup is and that is the only reason that he looked better on defense. Hentrup does sometime lose his man and he is not a great defender but he does work hard. He does see the floor well and he could average all those assists if the rams played an uptempo style of ball but they don't. I think Hentrup gives his all every night out. He was puking last friday after the game because he had played so hard. I think the rams are getting better defensivly and they will continue to do so. I hope atleast. By the way....I talk to Evan everytime he comes home and I have a Northwestern shirt! But even he will tell you that he doesn't get to play because the coach thinks he can't defend.

I've said this many of times I would rather be riding the bench on a D-1 school rather than playing D-2 or D-3 think about it Seacat gets a great education which basketball pays for can't beat that plus look at all the places he travels and goes as a team with no cost to him anyway back to the question one thing I think that separates Seacat and Hentrup is Seacat was more3 of a jump shooter/catch and shoot kinda player and Hentrup is a set shooter Seacat could score 18 points and it would look as if he scored 30 or 35 wen Hentrup scores 17 it seems like it's an ll game process but one different thing is Seacat in his 4 years always had a inside presence to go along with him (starting with Vance, then to VanEmon/Wolfie then to Wolfie) wich Kreigh doesn't have whuch I think could also help him

Until next time

i think we have the guys inside,it's just that seacat was smart enough to see that every time an inside player scored, it loosened him up. hentrup want's to do it all himself. seacat would allow someone else to be high point man every now and then.plus it's hard to score when you don't have the ball.brown saw to it that the ball was shared.looking at the field goal % they should get the ball more, they are not missing that many shots.

I think that it's wonderful that Evan is getting his education and getting to do all of these wonderful things such as traveling and meeting neat people. Shizz you are correct that Seacat was more of a jump shot scorer and could really pull up and make the jumper while Hentrup is better scoring from a pass. Seacat had some skilled scorers on his team, Eddy, and the 3 guys inside, Wolfe, Fullen, and Springer. Hentrup does not have those type of scorers and teams can see that. The rams do need to get the ball inside but the other rams need to kick it back out when the defense collapses in on them. Wolfe was a very good passer from the post and it helped SEacat when he could move to a differnet area on the perimeter and wolfe would kick it out for a shot. Emerick and Wiekert don't pass the ball all that well out of the post. Overall the rams offense has been getting the job done the past few games. SEacat never just let somebody else take the leading scorer role, it was usually a combination of a team having someone who could shut seacat down and wolfe having an advantage inside. This years ram team is very different than those teams, in a lot of ways. Not just coaching. Good luck RAms
