| bob hutchings owner of tvs is looking at two peases of land one in holyrood next to the tch the other is on the torbay side of the st.john's air port just out past the road to the amy side of the air port they are both in the right zone for the noize and he was talking to the gov and they see no problem with it. thats why all the guys are getting pave track cars. you ask them they what the plan is....

| they tried to put a moto cross track in holyrood and the town turned them down so i highly doubt there will be a race car track.
they said polution and noise was the issue.
so. ALOT more polution and noise come from these cars.
dont get your hopes up for a track in holyrood

| have to agree with adam.i followed the story of the track in holyrood when it first came to light a few years back.it was a motorcross track and it was turned down flat by the council.it will be a complete turn of events on how this council feels if it happens any time soon.

| noise and pollution They can't be serious the town of holyrood has one of the biggest polluters
in Canda right in their backyard. A bit of pollution from a few race cars is nothing in comparsion. And as for the noise can't imagine it being that loud all the way down in holyrood.

| its #4 in canada i beleive.if your talking about the holyrood power generating plant.they say they are in the process of cutting down on the pollution that comes from the plant.i have to agree its an awfull site watching that black smoke fill the sky.but without it you have no power.shouldnt have to live with it cant live without it.

| anyway we could support both tracks running at avs.build a pavement track around the dirt track.would be great.could run dirt on saturday pavement sunday or even night time racing on pavement.cant blame a guy for dreaming.

| some of these nascar drivers are not only the best drivers on pavement but sometime during their career were a track champion on a dirt track somewhere.some even own there own dirt tracks and dirt track teams.

| Pavement vs dirt track a side for a minute. There isn't a construction company on the island capable of laying a piece of pavement flat enough that will last for 6 months much less for a year it would be a mess in no time. Look to farther than any or the new roads built in the last few years. it'll never happen and if hell does freeze over it will never last simple as that.
