| I would just like to say that in light of recent events(Chara non-suspension), from this point forward, no matter how dirty, cheap, vile or disscusting a hit or play be any Habf player may be, I will justify it!

| The reason I say this is because the league has pretty much said it's okay for a player to try and end another player's career!

| the legue alows body contact slap shots and fighting a players career is at stake every time he laces on the skates.they know the risk when they sign on to play its there choice. if they dont want to take that risk they should play tennis or golf or some other game.as for the air canada bullshit they are not the only air line in the country.talking about miss management as you are acusing the nhl of.they have been nothing but that for years countless dollars from the feds to keep them afloat they have no room to critize anybody.

| Body checks, slap shots and fighting are and have been part of the game forever! What Chara did has no place in the game! Never has, never will! Players know that they will have to take body checks during a game! If they choose to block a shot, that's up to them! If they choose to drop the gloves, they know what could happen! However, a player should be able to cut outside a player without having to worry about that player ramming their head into a glass stanchion, potentially ending their career! Slap shots, body checks and fighting gives the player a choice! Pacioretty had no choice!

| i agree with c1. if chara had just shoved him into the boards where there is glass there would be no problem. interference penalty but there would be no serious injuries. chara can deny it all he wants but he was fully aware of his intentions when he shoved pacioretty into that stanchion in the glass. shameful. a promising career that could be cut short because of one momentary lapse in judgement by a player who should know better. i also agree with c1 that the league should make an example of chara for that disgusting display. headshots have been a topic of discussion around the league for quite some time now but the worst head shot the league has seen in quite some time goes unpunished. shame on chara. shame on the nhl.

| his head hit the glass or turnbuckle as some call it.he had a choice all he had to do was stop skating he made his choice but unfortunately he got hurt.are you guys mind readers how do you know what chara was thinking.maybe they should put some kind of probe in the timekeepers bench so they can insert it in the players ear to read their minds.you guys have completely flipped your lids.

| It's a game of inches! Sometimes you get the breaks, sometimes the breaks get you! Would've been nice if the Sabres could've beat the Leafs....would've been one less team for them to worry about!
