| This is the last I'm gonna post on the Chara/Pacioretty incident, and I'd like to end it with a question for you, reider! I have stated my opinion on the hit, and that Chara should be suspended and that it was a very dirty hit and all that! You have stated your opinion, that you didn't think it was dirty and was just a hockey play, that sort of thing! I have also stated that I would feel exactly the same way if a Habs player had done that to a member of the opposition, and I still would! The question I ask you is this....would YOU feel the exact same way if a Habs player had done that to a member of the opposition! All I'm asking is that you please, answer honestly!

| i say death penalty.no srious i would be happy with whatever the league decides.i dont think he intentionly tried to break the guys neck but I THINK he did try to get a piece of him so he couldnt race him to the lose puck for a scoring chance.every defenceman in the legue would probably do the same.if they didnt they would be riding the buses in the ahl.never want to see anybody seriuosly hurt.my opinoin hockey is the greatest sport of all.maybe its time for the nhl to address some of the issues they having facing the future of the game or it could lose some of its great fans.not bad for a bonehead ah.

| Very well said! Just kidding! You make some excellent points! I was very angry for a couple days after it happened, but it has subsided considerably! Don't get me wrong, my opinion on the hit hasn't changed, but I just figured there's nothing I or anyone else can do! It's only natural that folks are gonna get upset when something like this happens to one of their players....I'm sure you'd be a little more upset if he had done that to a Sabre, and I'd expect you to be! At the same time, while I'd be upset if he had done that to a player on another team, it wouldn't be as great as it would be for a Habs player! I was thinking the other day....can you imagine if he had done that to a Flyers player? I wouldn't put him in the lineup for any game in Philly for the next 5 years! I wouldn't even bring him on the trip there! Boston fans would be bad as well if that had happened to a Bruin(not by Chara's hands, obviously)! Thanks for your answer reider....it would have brought me great emotional distress to say "please" three times!

| I mistakingly left "just kidding" in there! I was gonna jokingly call you bonehead or something like that and changed my mind. I took it out but forgot to take the "just kidding" part. It shouldn't be in there so just ignore it!

| i know you were kidding.i have become pretty damn good with reading between lines.with only 2 cells it hard to focus or see straght.

| With only two cell, it would actually be easier to focus, wouldn't it? Not many other cells battling for thinking time!
