For the 3rd consecutive season the GCFFA has started a campaign to stir up confusion of where teams are playing in the 9 man division. For 2 seasons in a row none of this came true. Teams, play wherever you want to play but please look at the type of organization or leaders you are dealing with.
Truth 101...
I should tell you that my merciful and forgiving self offered chris and the GCFFA to make 1 league. i told him forget about the past and we can move forward. He did not want to agree to with this
...I said to myself what would make a person not to want to combine leagues if there keeping their teams and money???my guess would be ego.. but you can all make your own decision. If someone is trying to grow the sport and unify it how could this possibly hurt the GCFFA organization??? i want you all to think about that.
I left the situation alone as Chris said he had learned his lesson from last year by trying to make teams decide and bashing my league all the time, and that he would just offer his league and if teams wanted to play he didnt care if its not best for them.
Now again, as i said for the 3rd consecutive season the kiddish games have started again now itss about competition...
Let me point something out....
1.If all teams have left the league why is there such a strong campaign about whos playing in it. If teams are in the GCFFA. The GCFFA would not need to keep this campaign going. Everyday i have to constantly erase post on this site that ask whos playing? theres no need to ask for the GCFFA teams as you already know!!
2.lets get to logistics, the nonsense about where the competition is crazy. These post i keep erasing, keep saying the GCFFA "where the competition is" lol..Dont you know that all teams can get better, or on the other end lose their edge...Dont you know that any team is 1 injury away, 1 player quiting, 1 family member needing them in the house lol from changing a whole teams landscape???
If we continue to say the names of your teams are what makes you good then how can we grow the sport, how can we expand to get 32 or more quality teams...The stats, news stories were designed to show teams what they need to work on and at seasons end. the could aquire, divide and/or reform to be stronger than ever!
Rome wasnt built overnight!
Back to logistics...a fact is Hartford is the center of the state..In honesty the GCFFA wants to just take all the teams already in this league and bring them to waterbury....so the same league that says there's more competition has half of the teams that are already in the HFFL! and is trying to pull them away? so where is this compettion edge??? Its propaganda,who cares if teams are based in hartford or elswhere you have to play the game on the field, your name doesnt get uou anything!
Im rambling on so i conclude with this. If you wanted competition for teams this chris severino or the Gcffa best interest would have been to combine the leagues...That would be the teams best interesets...
and i Antwon Blunt was willing to let my HUGE ego down lol to allow for the best interest of the teams..Ill be posting up a team list shortly, but to answer some of your questions , I didnt put one up because our first meeting is next week. Why would i want to make a make beiev list to teams. So ill create one to the best of my knowledge
Look at my past and what ive said ive promised my track record is phenomenal.. And because of the "war" thats being created..Look at the track record of the GCFFA...They were willing to run a half *ssed league while the director was in Florida just to pull teams away from the HFFL. Not because it was the best interest of the teams but the best interest of Chris Severino and the GCFFA
Is that who has the best interests of the teams at heart. And because im now at war...lets put it out there, teams were promised a free league just to stop them from coming to the HFFL...and they still played in the HFFL! also ..those teams were told they owed money for a league they were told was free (Gunz)...Teams were promised a cash prize for the open chip in kings of ct (OILErs) and recieved t shirts instead...Teams were shorted their cash prize in kings of ct (Steelers)and you all just took it. You didnt question it.Gcffa said All teams were leaving the HFFL (fall &spring 2010)and never happened.... I pay immediately and promptly with no problems whatever i say i do!!So i do suspect that the knights have a free bid as they won a waterbury league and i suspect chris owes the steelers money (King of ct) so they get a free bid... I watch everything
Again im in no competion with Chris or the GCFFA unless its provoked which im starting to be provoked...Teams can play in whichever league they choose hey, play in both league for all i care. its not that serious...So youve all been promised the world but whats the track record, mines squeaky clean
But the bitterness to actually tell teams dont play somewhere, how grimey and pathetic is that. Not once have i ever told any of you teams to not play somewhere..ive always told you to play where you get your dollarz worth..and at last the end unless i think of something else lol telling teams to choose is simply not good for the teams and only causes division. Lets be smart!
Hey you know your doing something right when the GCFFA is trying to mmimic this site and how my leagues run with stats, prizes and so forth...You see it and i see it they try to copy every day! But theres only one original hartfordflag.com!!! Team list shortly...

the meeting was with some of the most respected people in ct flag alot of you young guys would have learned alot. almost every post on here must be coming from people that dont know Chris cause all the ballers that do were at the meeting. Both leagues are gonna be real good and thats all that matters, no need to hate on either of these guys cause they are both doing big things for Ct flag. Competition is good for the game and the players so leave it at that

IN THIS PARTICULAR INSTANCE COMPETITION IS BAD FOR THE TEAMS ... WHICH IS WHY AT ONE POINT I TRIED TO COMBINE LEAGUES. WHY FIGHT OVER THE SAME CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME GOALS AND WANTS???? WHY SAY ANOTHER LEAGUE IS BETTER THAN ANOTHERS COMPETITION WHEN YOUR TRYING TO MARKET TO THE SAME TEAMS? ALL THE TEAMS IN THE CURRENT HFFL INFORMED ME THEY WERE CONTACTED BY THE GCFFA TO PLAY IN THAT LEAGUE...SO IF YOU WANT THE TEAMS FROM THIS LEAGUE TO PLAY IN THAT LEAGUE...WHY WOULD THE COMPETITION BE BETTER?...EVEN THE AMERICAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE KNEW TO COMBINE FOR THE BENEFITS OF THE TEAMS AND FANS TO FORM THE NFL!....TO PUT IT SIMPLE THE COMPETITION HURTS THE GAME.PLAYERS AND TEAMS...AGAIN HARTFORD IS NATURALLY IN THE CENTER OF CT, NEW ENGLAND AND THE NORTH EAST...IF YOU WANT TO PLAY IN A DIFFERENT LEAGUE BECAUSE OF LOCATION FINE PLAY IN THOSE LEAGUES, BUT LEAGUES SHOULDNT CAMPAIGN BETTER COMPETITION AND THEN TRY TO GAIN THE SAME TEAMS AND NOW LABEL THEM BETTER COMPETITION JUST BECAUSE THEIR PLAYING IN A NEW CITY....THE HFFL DOESNT SELL A BAD PRODUCT, ITS THE BEST 9MAN LEAGUE IN THE COUNTRY..TRUST IVE LOOKED...THE ONLY REASON WHY A TEAM SHOULDNT BUY THIS PRODUCT IS LOCATION AND THATS IT, COMPETITION AND QUALITY PRODUCT IS WHAT I CAN GUARANTEE YOU IN THE HFFL! PLUS MARKETING TO THE SAME TEAMS IS TERRIBLE FOR THE GAME. IF TEAMS WANT TO BE CLOSED IN TO AN ELITE FEW TEAMS THATS FINE. BUT THE HFFL WILL WELCOME ALL TEAMS AND ENCOURAGE GROWTH AND BETTERMENT OF TEAMS...THE GCFFA CAN COMPETE WITH THEMSELVES INTO A DEADWALL..THE HFFL IS NOT ABOUT THAT...ITS NOT GOOD FOR THE TEAMS..PERIOD!

So if you guys combine leagues would it still be HFFL or would you then change the name like the american and national footbal league did, maybe it could be called the CFFL Connecticut Flag Football League.
