First let me say that NO team is our daddy. There isnt one team in CT where I am like "dam we cant beat these dudes".
If there was a team that we owe a few L's too, it is def the Steelers though. They have gotten the best of us the last 2 of 3

It doesnt matter who asked me... If they want to get on here and say it, then they can. I appreciated them asking me but I declined and I said I was staying with the Knights.
I enjoy hanging with these dudes and playing football with these dudes. I will end my "football career" as a Knight.

Absolutely an open championship should be worth something to be proud about. All the teams in these out of state tournaments can play. Theres a reason why only 3 CT teams left the state. Its not easy to get guys to leave for an entire weekend pay for food and hotel rooms and ball out for 4-5 games in a weekend. Like we mentioned before. We lost to the bluedogs. Top 3 team in the country. Those were the only points we gave up all weekend. Yes I played poorly. Very poorly. I dislocated my shoulder wednesday night. Had a sholder brace and three wraps around it. Was it uncomfortable, Yes, did it affect my range of motion, Yes, did it hurt my play, Yes, are any of those excuses that are worth shit, No. It is what it is. But did our defense shut out 4 straight opponents, Yes. Did we take the draw we had and run with it, Yes. 3-1-1 in a national tourny is good. Did we want to play open, No. When we were placed there did we win it all, Yes. Theres nothing more we could have done after our performance sat. There have been plenty of teams, CT teams at that that have played in the open and done nothing. Eh Hem CT High Rollers. If winning an open wasnt shit Cash your High Rollers team would have done it. Bottom line is we went out of state walked away with $250 a free bid for next year and a trophy.

Antwon, Antwon, Antwon…I really am beginning to think you are dillusional…For the record too you must be looking for more site hits because you yourself said it this weekend that if you need site hits to go up you will post something about the Knights and ironically Kel gets put in the Natty Ice hot seat…
A little insight on what really went down…Our team was resting in between a 4 hour lay over until the next round of our game…Antwon comes over to us and starts ranting that he is THE BEST CB AT THE TOURNAMENT…So while IN BETWEEN GAMES we decided to watch a little bit of Antwon’s skills and what we found is that he wasn’t even matched up on anyone! You definitely weren’t playing corner as you were dropped down in the box looking for any TE or RB leak outs…You’re corner was matched up solo on the outside with the WR and someone was RARELY in the slot where you were positioned…And for the pulled hammy situation, the Knights were too busy playing a game when all of a sudden from the other field comes a limping Antwon over to OUR sideline during his game! He stated that he was done because he injured his hammy and when asked why he wasn’t on his teams sidelines and watching his game he didn’t have much of an explanation…Come to find out later from an unknown source that he gave up 3 completions to start the game and then mysteriously had an injured hamstring and took himself out against the top competition…
He just LOVES the Knights we can’t get away from him…He wanted to watch us like a little boy watching a parade waiting for candy to be thrown to him!!
Also for all you DB’s out there he claimed that it’s easier to play corner than guard someone on a basketball court…Seriously??

Like i said in a post yesterday, were disappointed to be in the open. We are a much better team then that.But we didnt perform on Saturday and that was our punishment.. Playing in the open.
So we took what we had and made the best of it. Is winning a chip in the open something to be proud of, absolutely. It was our first tournament. Look at the history of all of the "elite teams" and tell me how they did in their first few tournies. Then you can judge us.
And i dont know where we were showcased, you said it yourself the real deal site didnt even mention us.

Haha Cash like I said I didn't see it and I only speak from what I see so I don't know if it's "FACTS" or not. An unknown source from another team claimed they saw you give up 3 straight completions to start the game...I'm not saying it's true or not but you sure were quick to defend yourself!!
And if my math serves me correctly you get 4 downs to get a 1st down. If they run 3 straight hitches on you for 15 yards and then you get hurt and they punt...thats 3 straight completions so yes you can give up 3 completions, be hurt on the first drive, and the team still not achieve a first down!
Where did YOU learn your math? Lol all in fun though Antwon you're helping me get through a dreadful morning at work!
And also to the no name about Kel 3rd strong QB. That's a joke between us...you wouldn't understand unless you were a Knight!!

Ill address that. In one week mid season (october) We got blown out by hall (i coach at hartford high) I dislocated my shoulder, got torched in my three fantasy leagues, and I lost my grandmother to cancer. We played the gators two days later. My moxie level was way low. I was disinterested at times in even playing, i was taking the loss of my grams hard and i wasnt play good football at all. I said to Kel at times take the reigns i dont think were giving us the best chance to win. But kel like the rest of my teammates kept on picking me up and encouraging me, and sticking by me. I got out of my funk and started playing better. But yes i was ready to give the reigns to Kel because my mental was not in a good place to lead our team. And yes kel will be getting reps at qb this spring.

read my post again, I said he wasnt playing at his highest level.. He knows it, I knew it, everyone knew it... he got to a point where he didnt even want to Q anymore. But being the baller he is, he got his "ish" together mid fall and we won a chip...
