Yes i am out of the running.
NOOO it is not a difficult task. Dolch got rid of the ball quickly and even threw the ball away sometimes to avoid the sack. I commend him for a job well done & placing the back to my side each time for a lil extra cushion... smart football. nothing against the Vikings O-line but we were in Dolch's back pocket quite often, "catch & throw" was his motto and it worked..

yeah sometimes you get caught with your foot in your mouth.. Bad days happen. YOu saw the start of the game. 7 guys show up late. just puts a bad start to the game and finished that way.
Yet i did also say when we lose everyone has all kinds shit to say and the no-names come out of the closet with an abundance of hate.. Did any of the steelers get the hot seat?? no disrespect but the steelers take back to back L's and NO ONE SAYS A WORD...
we're hated cuz we win, we're hated when we lose. we're hated cuz we believe in our team and will rep/talk shit to anyone that wants a piece. we carry a sense of humility yet our competitive fire is intense... when you have a team of men that ALL believe in themselves and want to be the best at everything they do personally & understand the TEAM concept.. you have a great recipe for success.. I put the pressure on myself to make the big play and soo does everyone on my team we all want the ball we all want to get the game winning flag.. and with that passion someone is bound to make that play for the team. Some days just go better than others PERIOD

And if the answer is "0"...Are you willing to put a bounty on your own team of $100 to the next team you lose to? Now money doesnt grow on trees... so you dont have to... but just trying to see if you really believe in an ansswer of "0".

a little off topic but you mentioned the tourneys
Do you not see that the tourneys dont have these "great teams".... the tourneys just eliminate terrible teams? (Meaning there arent ant HArtford Red Dogs or Windsor Night Riders..)
And also do you feel its a real test to play a 40 minute football game? and say "im better than you"
A metaphor i like to use is... My little cousin has a chance to beat me to 2 in a basketball game... But has no chance to beat me in a game to 15.
Yes the tournaments allow for good football... But do you really think that Making "the Pro" bracket is such a big thing?
Its a 2 game regular season ..and 40 minute games? just asking how does that downplay teams who never played in a tournament but play in the leagues? when its no comaprison that leagueare a better gauge

just for giggles...(still answer the questions above please) to prove my point about these 2 game tournaments
Do you know if we were to use this MCCFU "pro bracketing" our league today.... Your team may not have made the "pro bracket"
Meaning after 2 games its very easy for other teams to make or not make the "pro bracket"
wolverines would be the #1 seed..but after 10 games would they still be there?
Just stating my case that these tournaments arent anything to stake your claim to fame for any team to downplay a league team.
you can down play other "tournament teams"... but not teams who dont participate in them. As we play with much tougher "concepts" of the game than tournaments

time limit isnt a factor when you get a chance to play teams like omni gladiators or blue dogs instead hartford rams lions or whatever other animal you have repping hartford.

yea games are shorter, yeah theres all kinds of issues but the bottom line is we compete with the best of them and other teams cant even matchup at all.. we consistenly fight witht he best of the best and for one reason or another come up short... it is what it is...

good point yet you and i both know the tournamment is a differnt animal. it is made labeled a tournament for a reason. its held to a higher regard and the pressure to perform within limited time against the the best of the best is what makes the tourny so exciting.

well move on from that yes theteams are good, i said that... but if they played on our league they would cath l's... and when you play in the touneys... its hard to "NOT COmpete" when the average games has 2 or less scores per team because of the time restrictions

Hands Down after seeing the blowouts in Waterbury over the last few weeks and seeing the CFFL.
1. Overall what league has hands down more compettion?
2. How many of the 16 teams do you believe (altho it may never happen) have a chance...repeat a chance to beat every other team

yes youb are right... i can defend the league because we have great teams in it... If the state of CT had a bucng of terrible teams... i would encourage everyoine to goto them to get tested...
But its tough in the CFFL alone... And if waterbury would have merged... It would have been really tougher... so to the no name you are right.. I can only state this cuz i know..almost every week any team can lose in this league. because we haee tournamentr quality teams. They just dont all play in tourneys
