| How come we have a game on Easter Sunday 4/2 but not on Mothers Day 5/8? It should be the other way. Easter off Mothers Day game. I think all the teams have a bye on 5/8 lets have the games switched and see how everyone in the league feels about it.

| honestly cash my boy please switch the games from easter to mothers day.there is alot of dudes would love to ball but family does come first even though mothers day is also a family day we can always work on that but easter does hold a whole different perspective due to the religion factor also plus the kids. please switch these games it will be way more respected

| im open to all oppinions but here are a few facts
1.The last 2 seasons (not last year i was on vacation) the hartford league has played on easter
2. Not everyone has the same religious beliefs as you and I
3. There is a recheduling fee that can be made... divide that up by the 60 or so players that have the same oppinion as you for yur game...and that shuld be about 2-4 bucks each.
4. Im not making you play on Sunday, its an option, if its a tough decision for you to make between your family and flag football. You have to check your priorities.
Just stating facts, dont get all offended..hahahahahaha lol

| It prob is an easy way for the league to make a quick extra few bucks. If all the Teams reschedule how much would you make Cash? It's an easy solution to call the guys who lead each team to see what the majority wants to do. Play on Easter or on Sunday.

| Last spring we did not play on Easter. The first game of the season was 4-11 and Easter was on 4-4. That is a family day and holiday for most. Get your dates straight. I was just looking for an explanation of y a bye week for all on mothers day. When it could have been this coming weekend. It just didn't make sense.

| The games is at noon. I already have prior obligations and will not attend the game. The post on this board was just too see the reasoning behind the dates. I was not aware of any of the meetings prior to this season. I am not as involved as you are I guess. is mothers day weekend going to be used as a make up week for games which have been rescheduled?

| Primetime...first and foremost, George is the person who decided to come on here and speak up for our team. Because he is the one who spoke up doesnt mean hes the only one who feels this way. Point blank, its BS there is games on Easter. I think everybody knows why games were scheduled on Easter, and if you don't you should realize that this is about making money to some.
I for one come from a religious family and dont agree with games being on Easter. People have families, kids and things to do on Easter Sunday. So no, its not 1 person whose complaining. We have around 6-8 people who are questionable for Sunday, George is a KEY part of our team and yes we need him without a doubt. And another thing about meetings, we all dont live in Hartford. As much as Id enjoy making meetings every week, its not possible to do this with my work schedule. Hopefully that answers all your questions.

| Cash I respect and appreciate that option as a paying customer and can say I do not want a refund to stop playing no lol. As Cash told me himself and hes right, the Bearcats have made money off the rescheduling fee from the YGs game, so I really can't argue with it although we would have rather played last week then made money.
My response was on behalf of George, who has a family and obligations that prevent him from being able to attend Sunday. He spoke up for the people who can't come and was getting responses because of that. I personally can come, and will be there ready to ball. A majority of our team is not happy with games being on Easter Sunday, and some won't be there. But that doesnt mean we are going to make excuses and cry and moan, we are going to show up Sunday and ball out the best we can vs. Havoc. We have a good rivalry going with them in a few different leagues, and we always look forward to this game. We know itll be a battle, but I'm ready to go.

| thanks spence. Yes like i informed you Beacats have profited money off this same rule. Bearcats have made $75 of this rule.
The Young Gunz also had other obligations they needed to do, and would have less players but they wanted the game
No ones telling you you "have" to play
You can play, forfeit, or rescedule.
If you think im going nuts over $50 that i would make for a reschedule your nuts. The field costs $30 of that 50 to re rent... which is a profit of $20 for the league.
Im not going to kill myself over that $20 and if a person thinks i really need tht $20...I would love to give them a refund.As long as their record is.500 or better
Nothing personal but for $20 you guys are really psuhing the lines to my "estrogen levels" hahahaahahahhahahaha
Just wanted to show not only do i not need $20, I dont need the $500, And i dont need the few bucks i make on the league. I "want" the bucks (they call me cash) but i do not "need" them which is a huge difference
Me not needing the league money is why i can be str8 forward and honest with teams to give them the best product without favortism

If a player cant make it then its up to the next person on the depth chart to step up. | someone asked why didn't the team captains talk about this in pre league meetings? I wasn't there but I thought that the schedule's were not made until like a week before the season because the powers that be were still in negotiations with the waterbury league. If this in fact was the case then they couldn't have voted since there was no set schedule.
I can't make it Sunday and don't think that we should have scheduled it that way. With that said, it is what it is. Maybe in the future it is something to think about but I would figure it would be hard to change the whole league at this point. I will say this, Krug was just making a point and dudes start M.F.ing him. No need for that.

| Helping Cash. To put it in better perspective if most of these owners and coaches go more often to the meetings and be in contact with the Commissioner. Some of these questions would of been taken care of not during the freakin season. I am sink of tired of most these players and teams coming up with same stupidy questions which they should of had brought these up at meetings. I dont certainly dont be there but I know everything that goes on. So to finish it of sorry yes God is important but are you really going to church or just chasing the damm rabbit, take a pick. If religous was a priority to all. Then they shouldnt be playing football on a sunday they should be at church worshipping God.

Ps: How did this all turn from a discussion about Easter to the bearcats being racists? That is just a plain lie. We are the most friggin diverse team in this league. All shades on our team homie. How about your team no name?
In conclusion, there is games on easter. Some players, including many on my team can't go and feel there shouldn't be games on Easter. Guess what, there is games. That's it, let's move one. Done...nothing else left to talk about. Next year the team captains should ask those questions before the year. Lesson learned.

I love my family and see them more than just on Holidays witch is probably one of the reasons they are so understanding of my choices.(And I don't mean to accuse anyone of not seeing their family)
