Franchise vs. High Rollerz – The return of the MVP to face his old squad. Was there a better storyline for any game this year as of yet? The MVP was not his usual self, and has yet to be his usual self since joining the Rollerz. This will take some time as you would expect. Franchise looks like they haven’t skipped a beat without their former star. New QB Carl Randolph stepped in and passed for 122 Yards and a TD and also scrambled for 59 yards and a TD as well. Kareem Lawson also caught 3 balls for 59 yards on the day.

Havoc vs. Raiders – UPSET ALERT! Who would have thought going into Sunday that of all the upsets to take place, it would be the Raiders over the top seeded, number 1 ranked Mass Havoc. The Raiders must have done their homework, stacking the box all game with 4 or 5 men to slow down this running attack from Havoc. They turned QB Jose Colon into a pocket passer, and the results were not pretty. Zero scores through the air for Colon, and 3 Interceptions. For the Raiders, who is Marcus Mcray and where did this kid come from? Hes no household name for the CFFL but wow this kid has impressed for a few weeks straight. He ran 9 times for 183 yards and a TD. He averaged over 20 yards per carry this past Sunday. And he also had 49 receiving yards to go with it. Josh Calchon was a manchild on defense, recording 6 flags and 2 sacks. No real standout stats for Mass Havoc, other than Gio Ortiz with 77 receiving yards, and Alex A-Train Robles rushing for 48 yards on the ground. There is officially no more undefeated teams in the CFFL thanks to the Raiders. .
Standout Offensive Player – Marcus Mccray- 238 All Purpose Yards (189 Rushing), TD
Standout Defensive Player— Josh Calchon- 6 Flag Pulls, 2 sacks

Steelers vs. Assassins – This game was blowout number 2 of the day and word had it there was money on the line. The Assassins sure didn’t play that way. I think this game showed that any idea of a rivalry between the Steelers and Assasins, is too much for this team to take on. Andrew Alleyne passed for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns, and also ran for 52 and a score as well. He had solid production across the board from his WR core. Izzy Rivera led the way on defense recording 5 flags and a sack. Not much positives come from the other side of a 28-0 beatdown, Assassins head back to the drawing board. .
Standout Offensive Player— Andrew Alleyne- 170 Passing Yards, 2 TDs. 52 Rushing Yards, TD
Standout Defensive Player— Izzy Rivera- 5 Flag Pulls, Sack

Hit Squad vs. OCowboys – T This game had blowout city written all over it. The Hit Squad took down the Cowboys 29-7 in a bounce back win for the Hit Squad from last week. Joel Robles was a game manager as he usually is with the ground and pound running attack. He passed for 230 Yards and a TD. Hit Squad may have the best RB in the League in Taurean Gaston who rushed for 86 yards and 2 TDs. On The defensive side, Sean Haynes recorded 4 tackles, to go with 4 sacks. The Cowboys are in a bad state right now. There was no recorded stats for the Cowboys on Sunday.
Standout Offensive Player— Taurean Gaston?? Rushing Yards, 2 TD
Standout Defensive Player— Sean Haynes- 4 Flags, 4 sacks
| Vikings vs. Rams – This was the week of the beatdown apparently. The Vikings high powered attack proved to be far superior to anything the Rams had on the field defensively. The Rams have taken some serious lumps since week 1. Sunday was no different. QB Scott Dolch powered the Vikings for 3 scores and WR Ivan Schmidt had 5 catches for 110 yards. Defensively, Chris Gotay recorded 3 flag pulls and 2 interceptions for the Vikes. Junior Haslam also had 3 flags and 2 sacks. His sack total on the year is good for second in the league, with 7. The Rams did record 4 sacks on the day, but as far as offensive production goes, there was very little.
Standout Offensive Player – Scott Dolch- 185 Yards, 3 TD
Standout Defensive Player- Chris Gotay- 3 Flags, 2 Interceptions | Oilers vs. Lions Den – This had game of the week written all over it, but the Oilers came out and showed the Lions Den that this league is no walk in the park. The first real challenger for the Lions, and we didn’t see the same team we have seen for 3 straight weeks prior. Mike Colavito has returned to his old form with this receiving core passing for 307 Yards and 5 Touchdowns on the day. David Logan (54 Receiving Yards, TD), Lorenzo Gilliam (97 Receiving Yards) and Giddeon Torres (68 Receiving Yards, TD) had huge days for the Oilers. Mark Moore also had a big TD in the game as well. For the Lions Den, early season lead candidate for MVP Reggie Woodard had a less than stellar day. He did pass for 165 yards and 2 TDs, but he did not look like his poised self this past week against a battle tested team in the Oilers. Kayshawn Brantley also recorded 7 flags on defense. . Standout Offensive Player – Mike Colavito- 307 Yards, 5 Touchdowns
Standout Defensive Player—Marvin Taylor- - INT |
