Ive come to the decision that its in the best interests to not have Milford in the league. Being that i have to make a schedule by tomorrow Milford isnt ready and dont know how many teams they will have as of right now.

I have to do whats in the best interests of you teams and the league. And The schedule must be released. milford was not able to produce a final team list by today. so it had to be eliminated in the equation. So i could ensure the correct amount of games would be played and that teams wouldnt be "traveling" too much...

So at the end of the day the headache is not worth the price of "not knowing whos in the league and filling in the rest of the schedule later in the season.

Chris Weiner of the Gators was and is a great help in making this happen.

Wouldnt the upcoming hurricane hitting CT this sunday push the start of the league back another week and give Milford a few more days to solidify?

talk to the hartford teams see if everyone is willing to wait and make it work a 20 team league with AFC and NFC cross over games league wide stats that would be crazy plus we want to play trojans charger(the champs that never won anything) and the gators

Hey Cash hold on for a couple days. This Hurricane is coming so give the Milford league some more time. Teams would like to play some of those teams that were talking hell of trash. Or did Shank scare ur socks off. Not to mention this could be the best Fall league or league that CT has seen. The competition would be CRAZY every sunday. Great games on a weekly basis.

Pretty simple, if there are two teams that want to play (Trojans and Chargers) they need to ride their ass to Hartford on Sundays and come ready to go. I personally want to see both of those teams involved in this league one way or another. Milford, Hartford.... ALL THE SAME.

Snoog, Del, Chris, Shank.... You guys going to make the trip if Milford falls threw?

Dont think they have balls to play in the CFFL. There better off in the GCFFA. Where there can all hang out every sunday.

CFFL was almost upset by a GCFFA team there killer. And that team suffered it's only loss to one of those teams you are talking about. I don't think the Trojans or the Chargers are scared of any team. They are both solid teams that come ready to play with a 9 man roster or a 30 man roster. I look forward to them proving me right, to much talent on those teams to go to waste.

Let me clear this up. We (Milford) had 7 teams committed as of Tuesday night. Wednesday we continued to receive calls from interested teams. Our league was not planning on starting until the 11th (19 days away) of September so why would we not wait to see if we can pull a few more teams. We proposed Cash create the first couple weeks and complete the remaining schedule once we finalized our registration, but that was apparently too difficult to do.
Can't speak for the Chargers, but we (Trojans) aren't scared of any teams, if i'm not mistaken we are the only team not from Hartford that has participated in both Hartford tourneys. At least half of our team travels half hour minimum to any event we participate in (Waterbury, Milford, Hartford etc.).
Cash i like the way you made a point of addressing Chris' help in tryin to make it happen, but failed to mention i initiated this whole thing, i just didn't agree with your deadlines. I didn't help you with either one of your tourneys either huh? That shit is funny.

paul you are very much involved with trying to unify CT.. I just know you as being behind the scenes not the spot light...Chris is an agressor and in the mix... thats all.. but sorry you feel that way. Just didnt know you wanted the light.

But i will stamp that paul has helped with making schedules and organizing CFFL events and this is just me misreading that you didnt want credit in public.

Just curious if Milford is going to merge with our league, why wasnt the first thing discussed and agreed upon was the entry deadline? in order for any merger to work the start times has to be the same..If teams are on the fence or decide to join after that date they should be entered if they can be added without scheduling issues and would usually take a loss for any weeks missed as it as been in the past? Seems like whenever we try to merge timing has always been a thorn..lets make this happen..we have to start somewhere and sometimes that means not everyone can be accomodated...7 confirmed teams is plenty to have this be the start of a great combined league and sometimes sarcrifices have to be made for the greater good.. There maybe other issues but this one seems to be the biggest at the moment..

I agree...^ cash maybe instead of jacking the entry fee up for these new teams that are late, you could charge the late teams what everybody else pays and "IF" any teams that were late wins the chip then deduct a late fee out the Chip pot?

Cash i agree with the prior posts. This can be the best league yet in CT. This Hurricane is coming up the east coast as we speak. Plus we have Labor day the following week. Whats wrong with the season starting at the same time as the NFLs season on Sept. 11th. That insures that this will become the best season with the best competition every sunday any league has seen in CT.

cash there is really no excuse at this point as to why this merger is not taking place. The hurricane is going to delay the start of the season and even if we start with the 7 confirmed teams that Milford has, that is plenty to make this league the talk of the state. You are the one that tells us of possible mergers but then at the last minute you seem to find an excuse to not continue or have the merger happen..why even talk merger if you arent intrested..Your customers want the merger..so what you gonna do?

Its his arrogance. He wants to be the Don King of Flag Football. Talk of the state along with all other neighboring Flag Football organizations. That can possibly league to a Super league. Stop thinking about the short $$. Fast money never last. Since u say ur a business man u should now this !
