In the new greatest game EVER played... Scott dolch leads a 2 td comeback. With 4 minutes left. Dolch scrambles for a 70 yard TD... only to be called back for an inadvertant whistle as he still had both flags on. Dolch still leads game tying TD to send the game into overtime.. yrese on the bulldogs may have had 2 or 300 yds receieving and 4TDS and mutliple inteerceptions But it wasnt enough.
Tyrese pciks off scot dolch on the first play of over time. Bulldogs miss field goal for the win, In the 2nd overtime tyrese scores the Td to go ahead
Scott dolch then leads the vikings to a TD, but then elects to go for 2 AND THE WIN! and convert to Jake Fisher, who also torched the bulldogs secondry... (Game winnin footage will be uploaded soon>

In the worst championshhip ever played (due to injury) Scott dolch gets a concussion and a bloody lip that sends him out for the entire rest of the game (accidently bumped heads) on just his 2nd series... The wobbly throwing back up qbs had NO chance, to compete with the gunz, Elfren Quiles dominates this game on both sides of the ball.

| i was told by the white hat(troy) after the game that scott's flag was pulled short by tyreses on 4th down that would of ended the game but for that he said to me and gonz (troy aka head white hat said its a td while the whole leage and refs watched tyrese pulled his flag on 4th down 3 to 4 yards short but i owed them for blowing the whistle early. this is what your head ref said to me and gonz as the heads of the bulldogs.
this needs to stop now. this league is by far the beat teams in ct and keep it clean, not clouded by shit like this.
i never knew a blown callby a ref is a call on on layaway.
cash this is wrong and should be fixed. guns won and played great but i never cry normally, but when the head white hat says to me ( aka Troy) that to me that i missed a call so i made it up in the final mins cause i owed them.
lol but I'm not letting this shit go

| wow some real nice games yesterday fellas. GUNZ as I (and most anyone in the league did) picked them to win and they did. The championship game had any luster taken out of it when Dolch went down early.
Bulldogs/Vikings game was maybe the best game i have seen in CFFL history. Yes as i agree with MUZZ and was standing very close too the play Tyrece ( who proved yesterday me and a lot of others wrong and may be the best player in this league still) pulled that flag about 3-4 yards short not ot mention the other 2 bulldogs that knocked Dolch out of bounds also. BUT with that said the Bulldogs went back in time in the secondary in the second half and dolch picked it apart. Muzz you guys gave up a ton of points in the second half and THEN had a chance to seal the deal in the first overtime when you missed a 20 yard FG by about 10 yards. then all you had to do was not let them score on the 2pt conversion. YES the call was blown and YES the inadvertent whistle hurt the vikings BUT you and your dogs should have never been in that position in the first place.
GUNZ/Steelers never really lived up to the hype for me it was exciting in the first 10 minutes but then gunz dominated for the most part and kept shooting themselves in the foot or this one could have gotten out of hand
**Side note and site visits:
I over heard a a few bulldogs players saying that the refs told the vikings and bulldogs before the game that IF THEY HAD A PLAYER THAT WAS ON THEIR ROSTER THAT HADNT PLAYED ALL YEAR THAT THEY COULD NOT PLAY. im sure that mad fast has not played all year until yesterday. And the safety and corner for the vikings not sure if i had seen them before either. (could be wrong) **
Now with that being said I DONT THINK IT WOULD HAVE MATTERED ANYWAY GUNZ WERE WINNING NO MATTER WHAT!!

| refs were informed that if a player was not on the roster, to tell the teams that there will be no "debate" or just "taking" the player out the game.
The game would be OVER on the spot and an automatic loss would be given..
The Steelers challeged "mad fast" at the field but he was on the roster..
The other players you speak of were never chhallenged
The teams were warned that an illegal player would result in immediate forfeit with NO DISCUSSION

My end of the season question, Which one of you teams are going to step up and knock the Gunz of their throne? No other team has won it since the Steelers beat that team that ran away from this league to go get a easy trophy (what was their name again???) Seriously just my opinion teams like Gunz, Steelers and Trojans prove why they are a top 3 team in the state spots 4 and 5 our open for the taken this is just my opinion not asking anybody to agree or disagree and really don't care about your opinon just like you shouldn't care about mine I'm just putting it out there how I feel. Viking I love the direction your going keep your foot on the pedal and don't stop. Steelers looking forward to the rebirth in the spring fall season never a good season for you guys. Gunz you spent season after season taking a lot of bullshit from no names on the messageboard and I got a strong feeling that most of it was coming from "other players" in "other leagues" either way I'm sure you've earned the respect you deserve from the players and teams in this league a lot of them might not like you but I bet they respect you. Assassins and Hit Squad 2 teams I'm looking for to see move up in the league it'll be interesting to see you guys take out the top dogs and become one yourself. Kash I can't wait to see the Ducks in action especially if they're anything like the Spartans which was your greatest creation yet. Whispers in the air of the return of Supreme and the Ravens? And Oilers putting the band back together? New Britain Falcons give the league 1 more try? New team Seahawks to try the league lead by a quarternack who couldn't make a roster in the NFL? questions that'll soon be answered

| We dont run from anybody. You know this. Do you want to know why we went to Waterbury. Because the league is drama free. We play football and the refs have control of whats going on the game. We get 5 of them for the playoffs and the championship. The games are 2 hours long and always finish before the NFL games start. We dont pay ref fees. We have multiple weeks for the playoffs. Live fumbles and stiff arms are great. The fields are in better shape. How about all you teams come to us. Come play our style of football. We travel 20-25 mins to every league we play. Lets see how well all you guys travel. Saying we ran away. The trojans took your last two tournies. We beat them. the chargers and canes can play with vikes and bulldogs. We won the best best league top to bottom the state has ever seen (Gcffa Spring 2011) and almost won your playoffs too. Dont tell us about running away. Shouts to the Gunz, Steelers and Bulldogs. Only teams in your league to beat us with me at QB.

I witness DBS and LB thrown around the field by Quiles Sanchez and the Oline They are just toooooo physical for Any Defense. So in actuality, if i would have had this "GET TOP TEAMS" mentality... I could have gotten a 2 for 1. As the knights tried to register IN THE CFFL FOR FALL and i wouldnt accept giving them a discounted rate (no late fee), as they had "waited" for too long

| First off I would like to give congrats to the YG's for winning the CHIP. Vikings were on a mission this year and fell short. Sorry the last game was not all we intended with Scott getting hurt but we have no excuses. As all teams know you must bring your A - Game to beat us and we must bring our A-Game to win a CHIP. So again congrats GUNS. Well Done..
On another note: We had no illegal players on our squad all players played all year during playoffs. That was however a Classic game against bulldogs and it could have gone either way. I feel sorry that they are questioning calls and what was said about refs. But we had a TD negated and came back and took that game. We could have gone for a tie but wanted the win. That’s all, Bulldogs a great team and much respect from Vikings. Hate to see mud put on that game no matter how it turned out. That was a battle...
So to all teams Spring - can't wait.. VIKINGS will be back stronger...PEACE..

Trojans came out here and won 2 tournaments and even won 1 of them with 9 players knocking off other teams other top teams that were loaded with players from other teams. and Steelers won a CFFL trophy (They played the Knights) so yeah they could do what they want.
Ish that league is full of drama just like this one I've read that messageboard and you guys have ref issues just like we do, I even read a player spit on another player, Players telling other players to hurt players on another team? But you say that league has no drama? I would post more drama you guys have going on over there but not wasting space on that. Good question also. Didn't the Cowboys beat Knights when you were at QB? and you talking about almost wining playoffs after you played a whole season somewhere else THEN joined CFFL playoffs? Is that what your talking about? How many teams in this league you scored 70 points on? My point is you didn't leave for better anything you left because you felt you needed another trophy and you knew you wasn't going to get it here. let me start off by saying Congrat's to those YG boy's, stacking up chip's like firewood...
The Bulldogs and Vikings game was BETTER than advertised. Without taking any credit away from the Vikings come back, that was one of the worst out comes to a game that i have ever seen. It reminded me about the Seahawks, Packers game. TEERRRIIBBLLLEEE call, being that i was standing at the 3 yrd line with about 10 other players from the league. Tyrece made a great play and grabbed Dolchs flag at the 2 1/2 yrd line, to keep in funky. The inadvertent whistle was a mistake, which the Vikings received 15 yrds for. but that play was a Blown & Make up call that has no business in this game...I for one wanted to see the YGz & Bulldogs match up in the chip, being that i think these were the 2 best teams in the league this fall...
This whole Knight shit is NUUUTTS, why would one of the best teams in any league run from another league ? To be honest Noooo other team in the CFFL has a winning record against them BUUTTT the Steelers, Not even the ALLLLLLLLL Mighty YGz have a better head to head record against the Knights then they do. So why do u guys keep putting up that they ran to an easier league, so they can finally win a chip, etc. Arent they the defending Fall champs in the waterbury league, so why wouldnt they go Defend their Belt, if u knew anything about the Knights they always play in the waterbury league in the Fall, even dating back to my Knight days. Where yes we Won 2 Chips,(this isnt their 1st Rodeo, they have been winning chips for a min) so this shit about them running from this league because its SUPERIOR, IS A JOOOKKKEEEEEE !

Either way we didn't close out a game we were in control of and you guys kept playing and then had the balls to go for 2. Honestly, we still don't know how we lost! AG throws no picks, 4 tds. But you keep mentioning leagues and "other" teams but youve lost to the cowboys, steelers, young gunz, franchise, bulldogs etc etc
You squeeked by teams like the bearcats, and the hitsquad in your last league
The points im making are....
1. YOU ARE NOWHERE ON THE GUNZ LEVEL
2. You are on the same level as every other "good team in this league nothing special
3. YOuve played in 5 of maybe 8 CFFL total events and HAVE NO CHIPS.
4. 80% of our league travels 20 minutes or more to our fields we even have a team in the mass league
Youre a good team, but join the rest of the mob with the "0" CFFL chips lol
Heres some "Facts" about you at quartback ISH:
-Knights blew the #1 seed and a 1st round bye in the spring league with YOU as the quarterback
-Knights blew a lead in 1 and done tournament with YOU at Quarterback
-Knights lost 1 and only scored 6 points in a championship game with YOU at Quarterback
- Knights got blown out in the chip against the trojans with YOU at quarterback
These are facts, nothing personal, maybe youre just a regular season quarterback. Mr. Winner lol
Youve failed on many occasions in "important" games. Mr ISH5KNIGHTS, Im not sure why you are blaming scott for the Knights lack of CFFL success.. Bard was great!

That #1 seed we lost to to the steelers we lost by 9 in a shootout. Against the second best team your league has and one fo the best teams the state has ever seen.
I blew a lead in the one and done because rocket did rocket. If I could even being to tell you our roster of like 12 guys that day you'd laugh. We lost by by a few points.
The Championship we scored 6 points the winning team scored 9, and it was on a td with 1 min left. That was after we beat the trojans and chargers. Relaxed for a moment drove an hour and played a fully loaded fresh young gunz team. (Last and only time they lost in your league playoffs) Beat them. Then played out fourth game of the day like 7 hours later against a steelers team lost 8 of our players because they played in the cffl with other teams or lost them to injury or work and played with like 16 guys give me a break.
And blew out by the trojans. 25-15 is surely a blowout. With our backup oline. Missing 9-10 starters. Getting concussed and throwing four pics. In a short game.
So after you summed up all my losses they are are all in chips. Cash youve never beat me. You never will. Only the Steelers and Gunz can say they can. So like I said its all about the Knights Gunz and steelers and bulldogs. Heard the vikings are making strides. But les be realistic. We all know who plays for chips.
Assassians. Our little brother will beat you guys. So dont talk to us.

| Ish was most definitely benched because he couldnt get it done in the big games. Out of state tourneys, didnt get it done, big games in the CFFL couldnt get it done. So when the knights got the chance to get what they thought would be a better fit they did. Ish sat the sidelines, Scott got injured and now Ish is QB'n again....Ish is a good QB when but not a great QB....

Few things:
1. Gunz won again and its really not that much of a surprise
2. The Knights, Bulldogs, Trojans, Steelers, and maybe now vikings are the only teams with the stats to support the claim of being elite in the last 4-5 years
3. The knights arent running away by not playing here BUT maybe it just suits theit players adn their families to play in waterbury (they are from southington)
4. Only 4 teams from hartford would ever be able to travel 30-40 minutes to games as a team in hartford every weekend, so stop all the chatter
5. still never really understood why we cant just have one big league AFC adn NFC with a superbowl? Shit even play a few cross over games a year.

No offense but this is why we no longer "want" outside teams, if they cant make it so be it....
It means STAY WHERE YOU ARE! We will find the players who can. And the leagues talent level will continue to increase

| Sorry ACE but to compare a PRO AM to our football league is WAY OFF. The Spanish league (that's not really Spanish anymore). and when it was only spanish (with 2 non spanish players a team) why there were so many dudes traveling from all over.
pump those breaks sir. what traveling coming from NB which is 10 minutes down the road? you move the league outside of colt park and the league teams drop guaranteed. the only team that truly travels to this league IN FALL is the bulldogs who come from willimantic. in spring bearcats, havoc and knights get added to that list.
Steelers sometimes have trouble traveling like they did last spring when they were in waterbury. you think raiders, hitsquad, assassins, cowboys, franchise, eagles would play 30 minutes away every weekend? HELL NO

Franchise has a winning record and beat some elite teams why aren't they mentioned as a elite team? They have stats to show it. Let's not make traveling a issue here because at the end of the day how long has majority of these teams been traveling? FOR YEARS so please don't try and make it seem like it's a issue all of a sudden so your arguement about traveling and being closer to home is pointless. Also what happen last time Knights and Trojans traveled out of state to play in a tourney? On another website out of teams states said " They stink" Notice I used the "" marks to let people know I'm repeating what was said just in case somebody try to say I said it. After Knights started joining with the Gunz which I find nothing wrong with that because as a unit CT should want to join together imagine the team that could be created with the best players from all leagues. You also mentioned the Chargers who joined together with a NY team to make a team right? Meaning CT Chargers didn't win it the bluedog Chargers did. So it seems as if it's not what you've done NOW that makes you elite it's what you've done in the past. Ok I get it now. Take the Assassins years as playing as a team and compare it to any other team you mentioned and compare it. It's impossible. These new teams shouldn't just jump out there in out of state tournaments they still got experience to build with each other.

The Gators came out of the gate in 2001 and won both leagues they were in and then went to Dallas TX and won a national championship. They were winning from day one and didnt look back for nearly 4 years and even at that point had 3 more years of chips
The Bulldogs joined the league in 2008 and went to the semis or chip every season and had several final 4 appearances in major tournaments early on
The Knights won several league titles indoor and out within there first 2 years
The Chargers won 3 tournaments and a league in there first 2 years
The steelers were never anything but champions for as long as I remember
The Gunz battled through mediocrity for 3 or 4 years but once 2008/2009 rolled around they have been on top ofthere game
Te Trojans first tournament ever was just 3 years ago and they have a shit load of hardware already.

CFFL Elite teams are team that have been doing it year in and year out. Knights, steelers, Bulldogs, GUNZ, Trojans, Chargers (with NY boys) have been. Yes every team will take a lose against an opponent that isnt elite but that DOES not make them elite. Alabama lost to Tex AM does that make Tex AM elite? and Alabama not? No Alabama is still still an elite team and Tex AM is having a good year. Assassins had a great season but you need to do it more than one season for me to say your elite

| "hartford" teams play in indoor leagues and have "mutiple" teams in them...they travel to the east windsor dome amd north branford
I even know of the cowboys playing in north branford multiple seasons and only stoped because the dome would mever give them a trophy...
"hartford teams" not only play in the domes, but they even scrimmage alot of weeks up to 1 oclock in the.morning in the winter...multiple teams, while also playing in the dome on other days
Check your knowledge, even the hartford wokverines who no longer play in the cffl play im multiple cities
The fact is, mayne this league traveks, like i keep saying
We travel for scrimmages, y wudnt we travel for leagues
I even took the "hartford" bemgals to scrimmage in southington versus the warriors

| Ignoring race issues only perpetuates racism and prejudiced attitudes. I applaud Ace for bringing up something that should be said. By saying Hartford v. Southington is like saying minorities v white people. You may not mean it in a prejudiced way but that is what it is. This reminds me of the case of Sheff v. O'Neil where Hartford Students (majority Black and Hispanic) were getting shafted out of a good education compared to surrounding school systems (Southington, GBury, West Hartford). Courts ruled that there was de jour segregation. That relates to this because Ish saying "Hartford" he is really saying Minorities. Ish I don't think your racist but we are all prejudiced!

| That's an extreme but just saying race is a part of our society and I'm glad the commish is recognizing it. He never called anyone a racist just recognized that there were racial undertones to the comment. Also, I feel like this message board is an opportunity to talk about more than just flag football with people I don't really get an opportunity to talk with.

When It comes to this Flag Football we have a 5 year spend (Not Ten) it's when your really start to see the next level of players and Teams moving up.Certain Teams just knows how to adapt to the changes (just look at the 5 Teams i listed earlier) by adding youth to continues to stay competitive. So Lets Be REAL on This, it's not what you did or have done in the Past..IT's WHAT HAVE YOU DONE LATELY!.

| @CFFL NETWORK..which Gator Team are you referring too? and my Overviews on Teams are only what i have witnessed personally on The Field and The body of Work from the past 4 years, no disrespect on any Teams History and what they have accomplished before
I was introduced by my Nephew Flex to The Connecticut Flag Football Leagues and Tournaments Both in and out of State.

| bulldogs have to be on your list hard to say that the other teams deserve it more than them outside of the GUNZ. i agree dont think they have traveled as much as they used to but still been a top team for years now. and yes gonz is right they always come loaded in the spring

| Gators from back in the day YES (no doubt). Gators now? I havent seen enough of them to see what there resume says.
MY elite teams in the state are as follows:
(not the specific order)
Gunz
Steelers
Bulldogs
Knights
Trojans
New Chargers team
this is based off of the last 4-5 years.
I dont think you have to win a chip to be elite but if you win 80% of your games year in and out makes you a dynasty.
Other teams will get to that level but having on good season doesnt get you there

| Just using Bulldogs and Steelers (because both left for one season and played in the waterbury league
2010-2012 REGULAR SEASON's
Bulldogs - 50-13
Steelers - 42-20 (*took a forfeit against assassins this season)
Both went 8-2 in waterbury.
Now why woudl you consider steelers elite and not the bulldogs because of 1 chip?
I know this doenst include all post season play and tourneys etc. but it gives you a good idea if a team is elite.
i used them because of them both leaving the league and having same records there.
I do believe both teams are elite and will continue to be.

| I've said Top teams in this state have more experience than some of the new teams out here a lot of you said it doesn't play a factor but now that we're mentioning what makes a team elite experience is playing a factor? You guys are contradicting yourselves. When you say it's based off of the last 4-5 years guess what that is? 4-5 years of experience not 4-5 seasons but 4-5 years. But on the other hand people are saying it's based off of "what have you done for me lately" And lately Bridgeport Gators has won a championship so it seems to me that every time I try to find the answer why they are not considered elite somebody try to find a way to why they're not but you putting a few of your "elite" teams out of the equation of being "elite". I think in flag football to many people are stuck in the past. Also Espn you only did the comparison between Steelers and Bulldogs for 2 years remember you said in the last 4-5 years count those to

| Even though the south is not the strongest division u still have to give them credit for what they done. They played for the spring and fall chip. Lost the chip in the spring but won the chip in the fall. Teams get better with time. They have talent,experience, and youth. They can only get better. If u play for 2 chips in the same year you have to put them up with the elites no matter if the league is strong or week. Nothing is a given. Only time will tell if they are elite among the rest of the state teams. But for now u have to put them in the elite class

| I'm not racist but this is humorous. Fact is the only hartford teams to leave hartford and play in any other leagues I believe are the steelers (waterbury and new haven) and the chiefs who played in new haven...Other than that all of the hartford teams play within the comfy confines of hartford and think that no other competitive football is played anywhere else in the state. Its fine. Think what you want about me. I coached 4 years at New Britain, 4 years at Hartford Public. Can easily coach at Southington, Glastonbury, Xavier, Kingswood Oxford, Avon Old Farms, but I chose to coach in Hartford. Maybe I'm racist against white guys.

| Not only the Steelers Ish. My team has played in North Branford, East Windsor and Middletown. I playin Hartford because I truley feel its the best league in the state and consistent. I know when its going to start and where its going to be. I like the fact that there stats. I didn't play college or pro ball but this league is the next best thing.

| He gives his definition in his last statement. He classifies GBury, Southington, Avon, etc... as White and Hartford and New Britain as non-White. No one said you were racist Ish, but you certainly are classifying teams who don't travel as non-White teams.

| I classify inner city to suburban. In regards to me being racist. I coach at inner city schools where demographic population of our kids being white at hartford (0%) and New britain about (30%) on the teams I coach. When I refer to "Hartford not Traveling" Im stating facts HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Lets Talk elite teams Gunz Steelers Dogs Trojans Chargers Knights. What the common theme associated with all these teams. Has nothing to do with race. All these teams have played in leagues all over the state. New Haven Hartford Waterbury Middletown. Tournaments in and out of state. Guys on all these teams have competed in Florida. I'm clearing up all the previous comments. Teams get better by playing together for a long time. You get better by playing in big boy tournies. You get better by playing against different teams, not the same 5-6 teams over and over. You get better by playing all year round. Do we want to win Hartford Hell yes. Cash runs a good product. But to think thats the only competitive football in the state thats wrong. Cffl South has good football, So does waterbury and the other 10 leagues that go on in the state. But to think you can discredit winning championships. In any league, especially by guys who have never won anything and no namers is a joke. If the steelers or Gunz came on and said knights shut up and win hartford then we would have to shut up because they have done it. But anyone else who is saying that you really have no credibility. So once again I'm not racist I'm stating facts HAHAHAHAHAHA hartford teams like to play in Hartford. The ELITE teams play anywhere. And Gunz own Hartford til somebody changes that.

In regards to g'bury avon etc I was talking about demographically caucasian dominant schools that I can coach for that I dont because I coach in Hartford and have in New Britain. Racists dont coach teams that have 100% of their players non-caucasian.

All I said was that you classify Hartford as non-White (like you said 0% of your Hartford teams are non white) and surrounding towns as White ("demographically caucasian"). Therefore by saying Hartford teams don't travel you are saying typically non-White teams don't travel. That's not racist. It may be a little prejudiced but we all have those. | Any team that can put up points on any team at will my book is considered an elite team despite winning record or not any team can be beat in this league, and as far as ish being racist, Ive known him for a few years and not once have I ever heard ish say any racial slurs or anything to make one think he was.
