| Whats funny is the Bluedog/Chargers had a all star team combined with 4-5 out of state teams... lol What happened to tge Waterbury Chargers, That team couldn't even win there own league in the Fall ??? Even the Gators show up with out of state players. Top teams with local/league players GUNZ, Steelers, Bulldogs, Cash team Spartans.

| it was a tournament i didnt know there was restrictions on bringing your tournament team? thats the bc travel squad. the young gunz have there travel squad in your league so whats your point? good tournament though. fields were sloppy but overall fun good atmosphere this weekend. good job cash

Good shit Gunz, Steelers, Gators, Chargers, Trojans, Bulldogs, and Ducks. Each team was solid. I like that 2nd String squad too. In a year or two they will be a problem.

| Yeah the rosters was under 25, its nothing we could do about it, Just kind hoped that teams would use the honor system and register as the team they "really" are so they could get the correct schedule they earned
But if they dont use it, we in the SEC (lower ranked teams) have to perform and get them elimimnated
But hey it is what it is
And as far as the field situation, i think we are just going to move over to the grass from now on when it rains
Well just have to use portable field goal post. I only use the muddy field for the kick game honestly.

the "other route" im sure you would have gotten 2 of the best teams, i would have made sure of it! lol
BUt the pool the chargers got was not "rigged" it was the actual bracket they should have got
But trust me, if you came in unranked, i woulda put you in the toughest pool possible! You guys know my style. Im known to do this this! lol
Doesnt mean you still wouldnt have won tho.

| tournament means bring your tournament team. its for that $$ so do what you can do to get it. some teams here were light (but none of which means the out come would have changed) That BlueChargers team is legit and remember they were missing players also.
2 string team is a legit squad and will do some work in the spring but im not sure if they will have enough to be as physical as the top teams here right now. BUT they will be exciting to watch.

| 2 seperate issues. On 1 hand you ackowledge nothing youncan do about rosters. On another hand you say teams should register under who they "really" are suggesting the Chargers deceived you. Lol and you say u would've given them a tougher bracket. Whatbgets tougher than playingbthe gunz twice!!
Teams don't wanna play those boys once. Let alone twice! Lol. Like I said...all in all it was fun and everyone balled out. Second string is a gokd squad missing 2-3 players and a GM. Lol

| Well i have a degree on marketing and with all the talented teams.in CT... The branding of the teams are important.
Right now "THE CHARGERS" won, amd the record books would state that on our all time atandings page
But in reality the BLUE CHARGERS won amd personally i would have like to see the blue chargers a s a new team.name.on the website.
So when this season ends, they may say "the chargers" won in hartford... And in CT...this is a big thing to all the teams who try.
For example if i woukd have regiaterd as the VIKINgs AND WON, i would not feel the same about my victory. Amd wouldnt feel right
I mean your jerseys say blue chargers lol
I guess time.will tell how people analyze if the chargers won, or the team bkue chargers won. At the end it to me it matters for "branding" purposes nothing more... But for the teams they should have won the games.
It does just kind of undermine "the system" a tad with all the team rivalries we have in CT thats all
So personally i do think they should have registered as the blue chargers, even with the same schedule they were given. It kinda takes away from the CT teams

| I do have to say - it's mot like the guy registered as the Panthers and brought the BlueChargers. He registered as the Chargers and brought the blue chargers. For tourney purposes you should always assume you will get the beat team any squad can assemble. This was not a league only tourney. Gatora had AC who won a National Chip w/The Gladiators. I saw Stokes out there w/Steelers who won a national chip w/Gladiators as well. The name don't matter. It must hurt to put "Chargers" on your record books. I get the rivalry. Lol
Chris got you on pennies and took the $1000 prize. 2 pts for the fat guy. Ball is in you court now!

| You guys aren’t seeing what makes this league the SEC not that all the teams are unbeatable but there is no easy way out. theirs know catering to the teams giving them easy roads. That’s what’s making this league great you have to come to play football every Sunday. And I’m going to point one thing out to all you people who thinks antwon doesn’t put the integrity of the game first. On Saturday night he could have easily said the bracket is lowest seed available not a straight bracket and assuming the YG’z beat the gators which they did the YG’z would have played the chargers and not the winner of the Ducks vs. Steeler playing the chargers, giving his team what was thought as an easier bracket but he kept the brackets the way he originally said because over everything else he believes in far play

Whether you go through the Steelers in the Semi's, or the Gunz...it's still a tough road. You guys are acting like the Steelers are a cake walk!

| Let's be real here a lot of us wanted to put a rest to the "TOP TEAMS" disgustion in this tournament and it didn't happen. I give a lot of credit and congrats to the BlueChargers (if that's their name) But it wouldve been nice to see the CT teams go at it and not travel teams

| First off thanks a thanks to the CT fam for letting us come rock. Had a good time balling out. That being said from what i understood this was a tounament. Tournaments are for tournament rosters. League play is for league rosters. If you think your league team is good enough to play in a tournament them put them in rock out and if you loose take it as constructive critism. If you win take it as you are marked and i will be looking for your team the next go round.. i love comp. But to hear cats was looking for just the CT cast of our team doesnt understand tournaments. Like Wu said we form like Voltron..

| I couldn't resist. Once again good tourney fellas. To shed some light on this issue I will say this..... Our Charger team has Never been mad up of just CT PLAYERS or just Charger players for that matter. Maybe our first roster ever and thats it. Even myself. I was a gator and decided to stay with the Chargers when we formed the team.
If you look at all of our pictures you will there are some core guys who have always been on our team from ct or not. Our 2nd or 3rd tourney ever, our roster is filled with Knights players also. Chief and a couple others first Virginia Beach tourney was as a Charger. From that point on Cheif felt his team was ready. Look how that turned out.
The bottom line is the Chargers were never supposed to be a league team in the first place. Guys wanted to stay together and keep playing so thats what we did knowing we would always be light in league play.
No disresect to the Gunz but when they won Va. they had some knights and Bulldogs on their team. Are you gonna call them the New Britain Gunz/Knights/Bulldogs???? No everyone shouted out the GunzThe Gunz are a great team and no matter who is on their team they are still the Gunz.

| Good tournament this weekend, had a lot of fun. Chargers good shit taking it down...we were hoping for another crack at you guys, maybe next time! And those hook and ladders and triple options are normal, no??? At least to us they are haha.
And for the people saying we're not physical enough to be a top team...well be just fine, thanks. And we definitely don't need a GM either, the more chaos the better. Until next time fellas...seeya in the spring.

| Not at tall Cash. If Omni players played with the Gunz all year and the team name was Young Gunz, then they would be in their right to bring that squad to your tourney.
Your point would be valid only if Chris had guys playing with him that never played with him at all. If he brought the Gladiators to your tourney and called his team chargers, then that would be fucked up. He didn't. He brought the team that he's traveled with all year, and have won other tourneys with (VA, Cleveland, etc..) That same team will be in Fla.
Tourneys are tourneys bro. I would definitely agree with you if this was week 6 of league play, and he brought his tourney team just for the gunz. TOURNEYS ARE TOURNEYS BOYS!

| I agree with both sides of this debate, but the only thing is that the gunz name are the young gunz no matter where they go...this charger or blue charger team has a different name than on the circuit than in ct
I'm pretty sure there is a reason for that, they are not called the blue chargers in waterbury, and they are not called the chargers at their tournaments
If the own team makes that distinction I'm sure there's a ryme and reason for it...but again like I said the best "team" won plain and simple

I understand your beef their, but the Gunz and everyone else that do this know......travel and tourneys is the only thing that matters at the end of the day. That's all that is ultimately respected. Gunz won VA, CT, and other tourneys. They been to other chips as well. They get respect Nationally. Steelers been in final 4's in tourneys....Trojans play with the big boys nationally and show and prove. This is all that matters. The local shit is cool too, but it's like being a high school legend who doesn't play after high school, or being that dude that plays college ball, or next level ball, and your name rings bells in other regions. Feel me?
