| well yeah it should be because these awards are for the Regular season not the playoffs
I said last week that i thought that Brian Gelsomino should be MVP and i may have jumped the gun.
After watching the games this weekend I am really torn between Brian and Tyrece For the MVP.
Both are so important to their teams. After some thought i have decided this way.
Tyrece - MVP
Without him i truly believe this Bulldogs team would barely be .500. His abilities have saved this team time and time again. I do believe he is the best All round Player in the state right now.
Brian Gelsomino - OPOY
His game has spoken for itself. He has lead one of the CFFL's best offensive assaults. He has amassed 2108 passing yards 26 TD's and only 6 INT's, as well as leading his Team to regular seasons best record and 1 Seed in the playoffs.
Josh Padilla - DPOY
There shouldnt even be a debate over this one. He lead the league in Flags (47), sacks (15), and threw in 2 INT's just for fun. This guy was a defensive nightmare for any Offense he faced this season. Great year Josh

| Second string passes the football every down..he is good but I think other teams who run the ball are more balanced..we will see what happens playoff time.... Tyrese is a animal who doesn't know that..he can definitely get o.p.o.y..u gotta look at the whole picture...

| It pains me to say it because I hate giving him credit, but if we didn't have my brother at QB we'd probably be a .500 team or worse in this league. It helps that most of our WR's have played together with him for a long time, but when he's been unavailable and we've experimented with other QB's it hasn't been pretty.
In response to the post above... Since we pass every down that means the other team knows what's coming which would make it harder to be efficient as a QB since the defensive line can pin their ears back and full out pass rush and everyone else can sit back waiting for the throw to come.
So while I agree that Tyrece is most likely the best player in the league, but as far as most valuable to their team...that's debateable because I think the bulldogs still win minimum of 6-7 games without him.

| In my view...I would say there would be a Co- MVP share...cause Brian is very important to that team and lead them all the way...especially in every offense of category...Ty should also be MVP cause his offense/Defense know how...I truly think the bulldogs would be in a hard if he didn't come up big in games( especially his Batman Int on me to close the game for us lol)...OPY that's easily Rocket to me..I mean he did shit that I've haven't seen week in week out...Be Well Fellas

| Ish as great as i think you did this year with everything i just dont think you have enough to beat out these other guys.
Troy, Yes Rocket is amazing and can do things that make your Jaw drop. But the losses they took this year i think puts him on the outside looking in.
Tyrece literally won games on his own for the Bulldogs. and not just on Offense either. His defense is outstanding.
I agree with J.G. i dont care if they throw every down. so do 90% of the Teams in Flag Football. Top 3 teams in the league this year, Bulldogs, Steelers, Second String all throw 95% of the time. Rocket may run a lot but those are mostly passing plays that broke down. If you know its coming and still cant stop it that helps the debate for how good B. Gelsomino was this year.
Second String without B.G. suffers big time on offense. Bulldogs without Tyrece suffers on Offense, Defense, Special teams.

| actually the MVP's are voted on by the sportswriters/broadcasters not the players in all leagues. players in some leagues can vote on all-stars and ARE not allowed to vote for teammates
