| In the interest of decreasing length of games, suppose we went to four 25-minute quarters with a true running clock. The only time the clock stops is when one of three timeouts is used AND the play immediately following the timeout is untimed (the game clock starts on the snap of the following play).
That cuts twenty minutes off minimum game time, makes for easy maintenance of the game time clock, and creates reasonable opportunity for a coach to “gain” plays.

| I think we should do 25 minutes per quarter on days we play multiple games. If we play a single game on a game day we can still do 30 minutes.
How about 3 time outs per half with a running clock but if a time out is used at the end of the half it can add a play? That's how we used to do it.
