I watched the South Dade VS Ferg Girls and will say the girls are good but the Coach is horrible. He made ZERO adjustments. Why is he the coach of the girls??? Move them out of the top 10.

You want to talk about a bad coach, check out the boys soccer coach of Southridge. The practice start late and in the dark,a lot of time no show up for practice and he always late for the games. Already more that 5 players quit the team. That team got talent, but they need a coach that care about the player and the school.

As a coach.....I will be a bit bias. When South Dade won GMAC last year was it because of the players or the coach? Ferguson has a very talented squad, adjustments would not have helped it would have been very difficult to defeat them........and like I tell my players your success is your success but your failure is mine...most coaches feel that way! Why do I coach, because I love the sport....I am sure nobody does it for the money.

Again, let's not forget that this is just high school soccer. A coach can make all the adjustments needed, but it is the 15, 16, 17, 18 year old athlete on the field that has to put those adjustments to work. It's just a game.

I have seen the Southridge games. The coach has players all in the wrong positions. Even the players are recomending he makes changes. They themselves know they are not in the positions that best fit their skills. One players was kicked off the team for pushing the issue.

South dade won gmac because of the players. All of the girls at Sd have solid parents whom have invested thousands into the development of their kids. It's very frustrating to watch an unskilled person pretend to lead. The coach isn't a leader as she is more buddy buddy with the kids. Example: she lets her pouty favriotes make threats/requests to get what they want. She of course caves in. South dade will finish third as the coach will keep putting players in the wrong spot .

I wonder what ferguson's record would be if they played clean games against starting lineups. I think their coach was advised by the Cobra Kai sensei, "Sweep the leg!" A.K.A. "If you can't beat them, hurt them"

As a ex players parent from Southridge I agree with the comments made about that coach. Although, the level of soccer played in Club is higher than in HS those kids deserve to at least have a coach that cares, at the very least keep the players playing. Very discouraging and disappointing.

Soccer Mom, talk to the school's athletic director. Sometimes nobody volunteers to do the job.....but someone has to do it. An assistant coach would help I am sure. Be proactive...make it change for the better so that your kid leaves with a great experience like most of us did.

At Southridge, the assistant coach is his brother in law. No help there. Besides, at this point of the season, even if you wanted a change it would be to late. They only had 13 players left when they played on Thursday. The players need to stick it out and play for next year. This is a fairly young team and will do well next year is a change is made and if to many players are not scared away by what has been happening. There is so much talent in the Southridge school district that they cab field a very strong team. Several players have lied about their address to avoid playing there. Hopefully a new coach will change that. I know a few interested coaches that can rebuild that soccer program.
