| Girls Top 10- As the regular season draws to a close and the dust begins to settle, here are my girls top 10.
1. Carrollton - Only undefeated team in Miami, defeated GULLIVER 4-1 earlier in the season and Gulliver just beat Lourdes 4-3.
2. Gulliver- only loss comes to #1 Carrollton, just took down previously undefeated Lourdes 4-3. Should make for a great post season within the county.
3. Lourdes- first loss of the season came at the hands of Gulliver 4-3. Lourdes will still go deep in the playoff with their division as 5A is weak in the county. Lourdes got by Lasalle 1-0. No serious challenge until regional finals.
4. Lasalle- on the verge of something special, a couple close losses, including Lourdes and archbishop McCarthy. Playing a challenging out of district schedule could bring its rewards in their post season.
5. Ransom- A solid squad. This division is most definitely the toughest and most interesting in the county. These playoffs should be fun to watch!
6. Miami country day- also another decent side.
7. Coral Reef- Not as strong as last season but still a good squad
8. Westminster Christian- An interesting team. With their results and challenging out of district schedule, I would not be surprised to see them win their district.
9. Miami Springs- The loss of a couple of their top players has springs on the ropes. Let’s see if they can put a run together.
10. Ferguson- A good team. Are they making their way back to the Ferguson teams of years past? Time will tell.
