How did every team do during their scrimmages?

I was at Troy this afternoon, the four teams were Troy, Eisenhower, Fordson and Warren Cousino. Here were just a few things that jumped out at me:

No shocker that Eisenhower was the top team there, however it was a shocker that Troy hung tough with Eisenhower and even tied them I believe in Touchdowns scored. Troy looked fast, I mean they looked really fast. Their backs and receivers were quick and agile, they made Fordson and Cousino spin, and at times twisted up Eisenhower. Troy's passing game was outstanding today, they could have scored at least 2 more times against each team if they had passed every play. Defense also looked sharp most of the time, except for a couple big plays.

Overall, the Troy Colts looked like a very very good football team tonight, keeping Eisenhower on their heals and steam rolling Cousino and Fordson... Maybe a possible replacement for the two giants atop the red this year? We'll see next thursday night

I was at Grosse Pointe North for the Lahser, Romeo and the Grosse Pointe North scrimmages. It completely shock me on how Lahser played. The defense in my honest opinion showed me that there is so much potential in the defense. Some plays, the defense would collapse. However, there were some plays where the d-line got in the backfield to stuff the running back before he could even see the hole! I am looking foward for the defense to keep improving week by week. Before the scrimmage, I had some doubts on the defense on a whole scale. After that performance, I am a believer that Lahser can really put other teams around1For the offense, I was completely scared. Lahser almost lost sophomore Nathan Emery to Royal Oak but it is truly a gift for him to stay at Lahser. I mean, nobody can't catch up with him once he is in open field. He has truly became one heck of an athlete and he shows dominance with his arm and his legs. He is the ultimate package that Lahser needs in order to far in the Playoffs. In a Multiple offense, you need a run game. If previous years, Lahser went far because of their run game. Nathan Emery showed me that the run game will not be an issue this season. Also, keep an eye on Matt Murphy. This kid is a buffalo. Whether it is run blocking or just running the football, bodies will be flying all over the gridiron on Friday nights if he keeps up his toughness and desire. I am looking forward for Lahser to use the run game as a huge threat. Spencer McCourt showed dominance as used his strength("the cannon") to move the ball down the field. The Biggest shocker though was Lahser beating Romeo in the scrimmage. They did two quarters with the score 21-13. It gave me reassurance that Lahser will be great this season if they were able to beat a MAC RED powerhouse. Look Out OAA Blue, because the knights are really on to something special!

P.S.-any other news from the OAA white?
