| Troy Athens and Pontiac were the only two to fall this week, and I think I can speak for the rest of the community on this site when I say those were both shocks... Lathrup, one of the lower tier teams of the white beats Pontiac and then a lower tier MAC Team absolutely shreds Athens for 350+ yards on the ground... I believe Pontiac is still a team that could possibly contend for a playoff spot, however, for Athens it's a long road ahead with Lake Orion next week.
Troy, Clarkston and Lake Orion looked very strong in their openers against some very good opponents... Erickson, although only heard about him from a friend, is an absolute beast it seems for clarkston. Troy has a very strong offense capable of exploding for a "Lahser 70" if the night is right. And Lake Orion is just Lake Orion they're solid across the board and showed great resiliency in their win.
Now, as for week 2, this is how i see it shaping up:
Lake Orion 35 Athens 7 Troy 31 Rochester 21 Clarkston 42 West Bloomfield 7 Pontiac 16 Stoney 13

| The "beast" was Clarkston's offensive line... they hammered Adams on every play. Could've drove a semi through those holes.

| While this is true, Erickson is no soft back... Only problem I see with Clarkston is passing game! They attempted to pass twice, one was an interception and one was fumble both returned for td's
