I understand that Oak Park has a better record, but I don't see that they are a 6 point favorite over Oxford. Oxford usually is not in the position that they are sitting in at the moment (having to win out to make the playoffs). and I believe that they will be playing with a sense of urgency in their last two. Oak Park is not a better football team, in fact, the teams that oak park has beaten, oxford has beaten just as well if not better. (VS Harrison, oxford won 34-31 and op won 26-21, against adams, oxford won 29-16 and op won 34-22, and against lathrup, oxford won 48-6 and op won 37-8). Oxford has beaten oak park both times they have played since they entered the oaa in 2010 and I don't see that trend ending this year. with oxford playing in a do-or-die situation, I see a solid performance by RB Liam Logan and a big Oxford victory. Wildcats 35 Oak Park 24.

Totally agree wildcat nation. Oxford needs to simply play there game and protect the ball. Oak park thrives on big plays. Oxfords needs to buried kicks in end zone and protect the edges against # 4 and 5. Watched their game against Harrison. Harrison shot itself in the foot over and over. Play bud ball and seniors must set tempo and lead their wildcats to victory.

I guess you forgot about Oxford's 49-7 loss vs Southfield, and the Oak Park 24-18 victory over Southfield.

Oxford wins 14-12. Logan went down early in the 2nd qtr (talked to him and a Oak Park player grabbed and twisted his ankle in the bottom of a pile) so he didn't have the game i predicted. But Oxford shut down #4 and completely contained their offense, including an interception. Oxford simply played Oxford football. pound the rock. Proving that Oak Park is flawed and ended their undefeated season run. great game overall.

Well done cats. Bud ball will take you far...great team win. There are no super stars...just a lot of solid football players who believe in the system, themselves and their coach. Don't underestimate a very desparate Troy team....you stand between them and their playoff hopes . Play disciplined assignment focus...protect the ball and your house!
