| Instead of waiting for bloggers and newspapers to give team previews in August... would anyone please entertain us all with their early preview of their teams or their conference.
Predictions, players, strengths, weaknesses, whatever...
I'm ready to read about OAA football...

| Thanks for getting things going "high school fanatic"... Now let's stir the pot some more...
I am going to cowardly tier my predictions and comment as I go...
Red 1- Clarkston & Lake Orion Obvious top 2 with even more strength, skill, and speed this year. Is any red team able to knock these 2 off the top? 2- Troy & Stoney Creek 3- Athens & Rochester 4- WB & Pontiac
White- 1- Southfield, Oak Park, Oxford I have to agree with Southfield being one of the best teams in white, but I don't think there is any reason to discount Oak Park or Oxford from the top tier yet. 2- Harrison, Farmington, Adams Are these teams young or returning? Any reason to believe they will be on top? 3- Bloomfield, Lathrup Bloomfield has to prove themselves What is Lathrup doing... anything new?
Blue... 1-N Farmington, Seaholm, Avondale, Groves I think the top tier will be a bit more spread out with N Farm coming back down 2-Berk, Fern, HP, RO I could be wrong...

| OAA Red I think Stoney Creek could knock Clarkston or Lake Orion off. Stoney Creek played alot of juniors last year. They had a very good freshmen class 3 years ago. Clarkston has their rb back and their freshmen and JV went undefeated. Lake Orion will reload. Troy having the 3 at home could be a sleeper. Injuries killed them last year. Athens very disappointing last year. Rochester tumbled at the end of the year. West Bloomfield and Pontiac will strugger. As for the white I do not have a favorite. I think Southfield, Harrison, Adams, Oak Park and Oxford will beat each other up. I think no one will go undefeated like last year. Any of those teams can beat anyone on any given day. Farmington will be young. If their young guys get the job done then they will have a say as well. Bloomfield will struggle. Lathrup should be better since they have a new coach. As for the blue. Seaholm, North Farmington, Groves and Avondale should battle. Seaholm has 3 tough games to start. North Farmington has their rb back and moving down they should contend for a playoff spot. Groves has their rb back but not alot of size upfront

| MillionMM...Why is Farmington dropped to last? Did they lose every starter from the team or something? Any reason for the suggested drop in their success? Do others agree/disagree?

| I will talk about the Red and White because the Blue looks like a roll-of-the-dice to me. I don't have enough knowledge of that league, so I'll go with what I know.
Red 1. Clarkston - Really talented starters returning, I think they have a chance to repeat or eclipse last season's success. Again, it will depend on the playoff draw. 2. Lake Orion - Still the class of the OAA Red. Reminds me of the years OU and Texas dominated the Big XII South, while having their rivalry. 3. Troy - A program people always over-look, they have some nice returning talent and good things happening in the sub-levels. 4. Stoney Creek - The Cougars will be a borderline playoff team but will be everyone's "sexy," "sleeper" pick in the Red. The Seniors this year went 9-0 as freshman and 8-1 the next year as Sophomores on the JV team. Then the program went through a coaching change and moved from the White to the Red. They have the talent to compete, but I expect many of the same issues as last year. Injury concerns that show a lack of depth, late game mis-management, etc. 5. Rochester 6. West Bloomfield 7. Troy Athens 8. Pontiac
White 1. Southfield 2. Oak Park 3. Farmington Hills Harrison 4. Oxford 5. Rochester Adams 6. Farmington 7. Bloomfield Hills 8. Southfield Lathrup

| FootballFriday, JUST KNOW MORE ABOUT THE OTHER TEAMS IN THAT DIV. TWO NEW COACHES, IN THE DIV. BOTH DID WELL THE YEAR BEFORE. I THINK THEY WILL DO OK, NOT GREAT IN THE DIV FIRST YEAR. THE TOP IS STACK, A HARD DRAW EVERY WEEK. NO TEAM WILL GO UNDEFEATED IN THIS DIV.

| What is happening at Harrison. Every time i look up someone has transferred. Looking at a year old roster is useless. The game is certainly all about individuals nowadays....a bunch of overhyped, over camped, you tubed stars. Except for a few teams out there, the HS game is sorely lacking discipline and not nearly as interesting to follow.
