Not a bad game. This is the type of game where the Rams will learn alot. The defense was good tonight turning the Jackets away inside the 20 3 or 4 times on downs. The only big play was when the Pike kid from Mitchell broke some tackles and outran the rets of the defense. For the most part the Rams kept Box and Bell intact none of them broke a long run. Defense got some pressure but at the beginning of the 4th quarter. The defense was almost worn out Conley tried to tough it out early but I think he reaggravated the injury. On the offensive side the fumbles have got to stop or slow down. If that happens The Rams would be able to put points on the board. I didn't think it was the O-line not driving people back but was more of Mitchell changin the defensive scheme and the Offensive Line not really adjusting but never really figured it out. Warner does a good job for a 5'8" quarterback I think once the timing gets down on the option or the tosses or the sweeps the offense will come around. In this offense you can run it seems like a thousand different plays but it takes time to learn it and get the timing down that you may not see it come together until week 6. Nice to see some freshmen get some playing time on defense. It may look bad but when the offense gets there the wins will start coming.
