| Well another game another game The ol' ramblers could've won...except for the big phrase I guess so far this season the "Big 4th down and 1" The Rams got the ball after Valley scored and were marching down the field and it came down to I believe 3rd and 2 or so and Laswell got I think 1 yard then....on 4th down and 1 the Rams try a FB trap or so and that play gets blown up and they lose a couple....it just makes you wonder was there not anything else in the playbook that the offensive coordinator could've called that might possible have worked because last week they tried the same damn play against Mitchell with the same result...ok then the game progresses and all and the Rams get the kickoff for the 2nd half....start to drive again get to I believe inside the 10 or close to the 10 and are faced iwth a 3rd and 1 Laswell again sneaks the ball gains inches...so if you're a Valley player you must be thinking that the ball is going to the same side as before...what happens on 4th and inches...the pull a toss sweep to Ben White which if it wasn;t the 35th time they ran that same play might've worked and what happens the lose the inches they gained the play before?...anyway to move on about the other parts of the game...valley played a typical Valley football game strong I run it lefy right middle...a little play action....Valley made a couple big pass plays which one the Wilkinson kid made a tough catch then juked a couple players for a 1st down...should've been stopped for a 10-15 yard catch with the jukes went to be a 30 or so yard catch...the other play was a pass where Land threw it up in the air and it looked like he just dropkicked the ball up in the air...should've, could've would've been intercepted the DB had great coverage but fgailed too look back for the ball and by the team he did the reciever was in the air catching the ball for a 1st down...The Rams scoring drive was actually cool...after Valley's center snapped the ball over Land's head the Rams took it over at the 24 or so...then Laswell and warner ran a great looking option with laswell pitching it at the bvery last second and EWarner scampering it in for the Touchdown...I think the Rams ran that type of option a few more times with different players and got I think 7 yards a play on the other tries but abandoned it for some reason...the defenseplayed a nice game...Ben White came up and made some good hard hits from his cornerback spot...the rest of the defense controlled the run but when Valley runs the ball 45 or so times you're going to give uop rushing yards...i'm just hoping the offense gets something going imnside the redzone so the Rams can win a few games before seasons end...
