Well this was a game where The Rams had nothin to lose game out of the gates playin like that....withstood Brownstown's first two drives then lost a fumble and it started the sinking ship...All season i've been looking for that agme where the playbook is thrown outt he window and everyplay in it is used to try and win....in a fedw gamnes we got bits and pieces but never the whole thing....Something I was suprised at was when Brownstown when into a hurry up no huddle offense and yet The Rams on their next drive didn't go to the hurry up and they have shown in previous games they could...Brownstown played a typical Brownstown game but i thought they were kinda looking for the big play early that set them back about a quarter or so if you look at Brownstown and how they run the ball the the insider counter..or misdirection handoffs....it makes the defense play more assignment football and with what I thought The rams would run more of a Spread Option in the game it might've worked a little...just think about it after The Rams' first drive they used bubble screens and short passes to the flats and score a touchdown...if The rams come out in their second drive and use osme misdirection mixed in with a few deep passes to keep the defense confused might've had more success later into the game...there was only one big Brownstown run or pass that was a 63 yard run for a touchdown where a couple of The Rams' defenders lost their footing as they were trying to make the play...The Rams defense played well all night long it was just one of those games where it was momentum fille dand once they lost that and lost the lead you can tell the aggressiveness started to die down...I think it would've been one helliva game if they rams had bnear 50 or so players just to see how some fresh bodies on defense would match up on the defensive side of the ball...well anyway The rams lose finish the season at 6-5...some positives for the Football team if you wanna look at it is...by winning 6 games it's more wins that 2 of the pasy 4 boy's basketball teams.....more wins thatn the last 2 girls volleyball teams...so that's a positive thing to build on....anyway i'm out.
