| What a weiord game this oen was the game started out slow real slow with the Rams moving the ball but not getting into the endzone and turning the ball over on downs same went with salem with them moving the ball alittle better but not scoring I think that Salem really shot theirsrlvrsd in the foot early on with running the ball asmuch as they did they never used a set numer of plays to each back or if they did give someone else the ball the other guy would still be on the field factor that in with playing both ways I think it just wore them down at the end...something that was dissapointing too me on the Rams' offensiove end was the lack of variety in the offense until the very end it took nearly 48 minutes for the Rasm to bust out the playbook and use all they had the rams should've wom by another touchdown or so but a player slipped on a kick return whgere he was wide open and the rams ran a ridiculous 4th downand 2 play where the previous 2 plays the ran the same dam play to the exact same spot...I think the Rams have got to learn that the other teams will start to key off of Laswell does and you could see it at times against Salem Laswell at one point does a triple option but as soon as he keeps the ball on the option keeper the Salem defense is there to drop him for a loss it wasn't until the last drive of the game where Laswell had some good lanes to run another thing is that all game lomg The Rams would take small yardage at a time which is ok if you can score out of it...but they didn't and the last drive form shotgun they ate up 40 or so yards within a couple of pass plays i just think that The Rams have to get back into when they arent moving the ball at a good enough pace to bring out the hurry up offense with the shotgun it seems to work and it can work just needs to be used more...The Rams' tackling was great at times and tnhen was aa mess at times there were tiomes where pkayers would fly by past a Salem player out of control the next play they wouldnt and tackle him short all in all it was a noce victory for the rams a great 2 minute Tom Brady esque drive by Laswell and it's the first time since 1997 The Rams start 1-0...the wins seem to keep coming...
