Well the 2008 edition of the Orange Bowl was a lopsided affair as the Rams just crushed valley in every category it was more of a scrimmage than a game the one thing that kinda didn't look good on the rams' part was not only the unsportsman like penalties but the lack of killer instinct near the end of the game and this game should've been a game where that killer instinct would've kicked in what I mean by that is The rams pulled the starters for the most part in the 4th and the JV couldn't budge the ball of course Valley kept in their starters throughout that period but still if you are winning like that and rolling you should move the ball consistently...if you watch the good-great teams in the area and in the past the Rams have been on the other side of this is is where the Brownstown's Southridge's etc. whgen they pull their varsity out their JV will still move the ball effectively in most part becuase I believe that those teams' JV wants to prove to the Varsity that they are as good as they are....now one problem the Rams will face down the line is and come sectional time anbd beyond if they win sectional is they will run into a team that is faster and stronger at every position and the Rams will have to develop a plan B instead of Plan A. that's where the Rams will have to get some sort of passing game going better naother thing is that it's easy to take a tea like Valley is this year and make things look easy but you know the better the teams get the less some of those long runs will be another thing you have to be dissapointed at is the lack of a substained drive when the Rams were up big on the flip side Valley was getting it handed to them but were substaining drives at times which down the line will help the team this is another game where you can experiement stuff and I don't think the Rams did a whole lot of that which is alright if it works but you got to wonder how much it will hurt your execution later in the seaosn you get when cetain things won't work something that bothered me was the fact that Valley got 2 first downs off of fake punts once you could understand but after that why not send an all out blitz to make sure he either punts it or gets dropped if he decides to run butall in all the Rams dominate win big get a shutout 3 big things and also get back the Orange Bowl trophy the more the Rams iwn the closer they get to the 1997 teams record of a perfect regular season...
