Not much to say about Friday's game. After leading 28-0 at the end of one quarter, Coach B pulled the plug and let some bench players get some time. I heard a lot of people comaplaining we didn't do that last year, so those people should be appeased.

I thought Garrett Strange looked good, and again, I love to see Channing Kameda play offense. As far as the two scores from CC... in the long run they don't mean much except that we had a player get burnt on the first score. The second was a decent drive from Crawford against some of our bench players.

Now comes the game of the year, potentially, with Corydon... good luck guys.

Why beat up on Crawford County? We showed some class by putting in players who might not otherwise get to play. This game was never in doubt and why run up the score. I don't agree that Corydon is the "game of the year." We'll need all the help we can get when we get to the playoffs when we get some real competition.

I was glad too see that the varsity starters were pulled after being up 28-0 after the b.s. that was pulled during the 4th Quarter of last years game against Eastern (Greene) when Raymer, Baker and Cole each ran in the football inside the 20 for a touchdown nice to see some class this year...anyway that pass play that went for a score was big because when you give up any big score an opponent down the road will look at that and stash it away in the back of his notes...the thing I was thinking of besides that Crawford broke the scoreless streak was The Rams could easily do that every game and yet except for the Mitchell game have tried to pass downfield much...The Rams go into the game against Corydon and it's goin to be a slugfest Corydon thinks they can beat us and The Rams know they can beat Corydon...Corydon may throw alot of different looks which will help The Rams down the line...I just don't wanna see this game get to the point to where it's a toss sweep...left...toss sweep...right...Shepard up the middle...another thing that will make this matchup difficult is that Corydon has speed and are physical so if The Rams let up here or there up goes The Refs arms signaling a Touchdown...Just hope The Rams at least get the passsing game more involved than the 2-5 times they try to get them involved might be a good game to wake up the recievers a little bit and throw them the ball...should be a good hard fought game...anyhting could happen

its always good to see Kameda involved. the younger Kameda looked pretty good tonight at the freshman game too. could be a real nice "family combo" next season. i was really happy with the outcome of the CC game. there was no reason to "kick them while they're down". They have a good young coach, and with a little luck he could make CC a competitive team in a few years. i was glad to see all the kids taking a knee together, that was a great show of respect to and from both teams. we all need to keep the Newkirk family in our thoughts.

in this NFL world of Brady, Manning, and Brees, i know we all love to see the ball in the air, i think Wilson has shown he can throw it. he has made some real nice passes to Axsom, Jones, and Phelps. i agree to keep winning as the competition gets better we need to put it in the air a little more. although its always easier to call plays from the 10th row at the 50 yard line.

Just in case I was misunderstood, I was happy that Coach B played the bench players. I agree that there was no reason at all to beat up on Crawford. I was just recapping and not really giving an opinion. Also, the Corydon comment was meant for the regular season. There is no doubt the sectional will bring bigger challenges.

I think it's great that everyone gets to play. Giving them this experience will only help with future teams. These games like Corydon will only help us in the playoffs. We have a tough road to go in the playoffs and will need his test.
