Can you say ready to play?!!! I thought we looked pretty sharp for being the first game of the season. I know that Salem didn't put up much of a fight but I thought we looked very crisp. On the offensive side of the ball I thought RJ did a great job of taking what Salem gave us. The corners were playing 10 plus yards off the ball so we took advantage of the bubble screen. On the defensive side we only gave up I believe 24 yards total. We were disciplined and played physical up front and caused havoc up front. Special teams looked to be in mid-season form. Had Trevor not fair caught a couple he could have came close to having 250 yards in the return game. WOW! I don't care whyou are playing that is impressive. Congrats to Coach B and the boys on an impressive first week. Good luck next week!!

I'm sorry, but the good Sisters from Ferdinand would have given us a better game than Salem did. I'm really surprised that Mo didn't have those boys better prepared than what they showed. Don't let this game get everyone's head to big. I know the Rams are going to have a great season, but please don't use this as what to expect.

Dutch, there is no doubt Salem was down some, But that doesn't change the effort our boys put forth, nore does it change the fact that they played a great game. Will we see better teams, you bet, espically when we beat Ft. Wayne in State. GOOD JOB BOYS-GO RAMS

You need to think about what your saying. First of all, you need to use some "commonsense". It is way to early about talk of even going to the state champtionship game. There may be other teams who may have something to say about Luers being there as an opponent. I'd say we have some teams we may have to face that might have something to say about the Rams going anywhere. Let's stay positive, but please, this is way too soon about this kind of talk.

Losing attitude there dutch. Fact is you better plan on winning every game, otherwise stay home.

Little ol' Trevor was a tackle away from tying a state record for punt returns for a TD in a game...

Anyway I agree you shouldn't mention those dreaded words until you get there and those words being "Ft. Wayne Luers" to tell you the truth I think the Regional could be a tough round to get out of if you look who comes out of that sectional....

by the way liked the "Good Sisters Of Ferdinand" Quote there Dutchman

Common I agree that you should have the goal of winning every game. Now is it unrealistic to be Salem right now talking about winning state?? Why yes, yes it is. But I don't think it should be a taboo topic when you are a top 20 team. I thik it is a great thing for teams to set there goals pretty high. After all, they aren't really goals if they are easily acheived. It is never to early to talk about your goals.

I don't have a losing attitude. Who in their right minds goes to a game with losing in mind. However, there are plenty of games ahead of us that other teams might have something to say about who goes to a state championship game. Don't start making your hotel reservations for Indy yet. And don't start making way for a new trophy.

talking about state is something a championship team does that is part of a championship program. there is no reason why we can not discuss a state title if you don't talk about it it will never happen

This is funny. We better be worrying about playing our next game instead of winning a state championship. A win aganst a team like Salem proves nothing as far as how good we are as a team. Look in the Sagaran Ratings and see how we compare with our competition.

Well it is true i am almost positive that there are people every year that are not the best team in the ratings that beat all because of the heart will and determination of not only the players but the coaches as well. the paoli football program is a championship program and will continue to be because of the leadership and life lessons the coaches teach the kids. From what I have heard and seen from the games there is more heart and emotion of the paoli football team and in the program than any other. I feel like paoli plays with heart and truthfully its not about who has the better team it is who has better leaders who wants it more and who plays with the most heart.

Easy on the championship program comment The Rams will have to win some more championships before you can consider The Rams a championship program...

Not only are we a chamionship program, we will continue to be for the next 8- 10 years min. Not only for the reasons chuck and alum. have covered but also due to the classes we have coming up. It is not unreasonable to think we will win some big games not just this year but for a long time to come. It is a fact that our current varsity and all of the classes stacked up behind them have the potential to be GREAT. It is truely a great time to be a RAM FAN.

Agreed Shiz. It depends on what the definition of what championship is. Is championsip of Orange County, PLAC, Sectional, Regional, Semi State, and State. Or will we will the battle of Crawford County, one of the stronger teams we play this season. Or maybe it's Mitchell, just up the road. Or is it the City Championship, where we don't play anyone.

Well as of right now it's just 3 conference wins along with a sectional, and regional championship. There are more and bigger titles coming, although I'm not sure anything even a State Title will be enough for you. Are you sure your not an undercover agent from some other school, just don't seem like you like our program much?

I'm actually a CIA agent who lives in Orange County. As far as being a promoter of this football team, I AM. I'm not gonna sugar coat what everyone else may post about. I'm realistic and can see that our program is headed in the right direction. But, we have a long way to go. I'm just being honest. When you say that we have a championship team, that covers alot of territory. I just wanted to to see things as they are. I'm looking forward to another successful season.

Consistantly winning the conference is a huge step for our football program. I will gladly take that championship every year. An occasional sectional title is unheard of in Paoli. I will gladly take that. A regional championship is just amazing considering not long ago we owned the states longest losing streak. Still waiting on the semi state. Seriously, we can discuss winning these championships, something we never could do in Paoli. I just hope we continue to grow and mature as a successful program.

there is no question about it no hoping we will grow we are growing as a program with every win we have we come closer and closer to every goal we have set including a state title and being a dominant force. our program is about reloading not rebuilding and thats a fact
