Well I kinda knew what to expect going into this game I knew that with the way the QB situation was The Rams were probably goin to go back to the "Flex Coast Offense" and rarely pass and excpet for the last minute or so before halftime I was right all I have to say about the game is WOW on offense it took us nearly 2 quarters to attempt a single pass knwing that West Washington was going to load the box and force The Rams to pass the ball there were multiple times where west Washington brought blizters through the line the 3 I remember ended up in turnovers once it was 4th down and a Linebacker came free through the line and sacked Balsmeyer on 4th down at the 25 yard line near the red zone...then the start of the 3rd Quarter Line has the same thing happen to him when they try and do play action that resulted in him getting hit and fumbling the ball...too me it makes no sense to not adjust your formations or play calling or somethin it took them until the 4th Quarter when they finally had Line find Kameda over the middle from is slotback poisition for a 70 yard TD reception which the middle of the field was wide open all night for that play I think Line came in and played one heckuva game you could just tell he was rusty passing the ball because he's 3rd string QB but if he doesn't start next week if Wroblewski can't go then hard work or great effort you might as well just throw it away I do know one thing though The Rams are in big time trouble on defense if they go against a Big Line in Sectional Regional etc. because except for a handful of plays the line got controlled all night against West Washington the only thing I was dissapointed in besides the lack of different formations was the fact that the receivers were not used Strange one carry for 1 yard Wroblewski who came across the field and made a nice sliding catch goin out of bounds before halftime was not used like they have everybody is running the same offense they all should be able to pass they all can pass you get Line enough reps passing the ball he can be a solid QB I just don't want us if Wroblewski can't comr back go back to the offense of the past few years and get smoked come postseason...You know when the Colts last year didnt have Peyton Manning all year at least the ran the same offense with Curtis Painter as QB just sayin well hopefully ythings start clickin and the Rams can get the offense rolling again

I have given up on the thought of our coaching staff out thinking the other team. I totally lost interest when at the end of the 2nd quarter, we had them on the 1 yard line and let the clock run. i was totally mystified by this decision. and whats dume is, we ended up having a TD given to us. we were totally out coached in this game. very fortunate to come out with the win dispite of ourselves. i know we have some very key injuries, and i understand what that can do to a game plan. but still, there must be some room for adjustments.

So Shizz, how did the whole Curtis Painter thing work out? I think it worked out well enough for the head coach to get fired and the Colts had a bad enough record to get the #1 draft pick. Honestly I dont know where you come up with this stuff?? Tyler stepped in and did a great job but he is not a great passer. SO why would you try throwing the ball much? Getting reps throwing the ball for 1 week isnt going to help much. Once Brett got hurt I think the our whole game plan changed. We tried to gring it out and shorten the game. Which is what we did. How many other teams could have one that game with as many guys we had injured. You saw whay WW did to Valley when their starting running back and quarterback went out. I think WW won like 37-6. I give our coaches a lot of credit for adjusting andd getting out of there with a W. Once again fellas thanks for the laugh! Oh and by the way Realistic, this is how you spell DUMB!

well alumni, let see how well you think the coaches adjusted after this friday when we play the first good team on our schudule. I can guarantee you 1 thing. if we continually try to pound the ball between the tackles, it will be a very long night. would you like to address the clock running out when we had WW pinned? what was the strategy there? I am a huge fan who does not miss a game, but DUMB is DUMB.

So are you saying that the coaching staff isn't good enough to take a kid who hasn't played QB or passed all year and put him in the same pass plays as Lee? And if I quoted you right you said "how many other teams could have won that game with as amny guys as we had injured?" well let's see Carmel,Ben Davis, Lawrence Central, Ft. Wayne Luers, Ft. Wayne Snider, Indianapolis Roncalli, Penn, Indianapolis Chatard, Columbus East, just to name a few I could get worked up but i'm goin to the offensive coaches never adjusted you're lying if you believe that because they ran out of the same offensive formation 90% of the game there was only a 1 series where they went shotgun oh wait here we go you are goin to say they did adjust because they did go shotgun one series gosh how dumb of me to fall for it and you probably say how that was part of adjustment when Line did a fake toss to the left only to turn back right and gets sacked and lose the ball and that guy came free numerous times all game....wait yeah but there was that time that we did adjust that one time and kameda caught the ball and went 70 yards down the seam THAT PLAY WAS THERE ALL NIGHT if it takes you almost 4 quarters to figure out somethin is that open put s blindfolded Stevie Wonder on the headset and let him call the offensive plays everyone use to bash me because i would say back in the day things about a certain player or coach or whatever you just said after a kid had a heckuva night that he can't pass and the reason we can't pass the ball is because of him he's not a great passer does it make you feel good that you made the coaching staff sound like they won't pass the ball because they don't trust the kid to pass the ball? so you are using me as an example to get your point across that deep down inside you would like the coaching staff to throw the ball more but you are goin to use another guy to get your point across? So how did the game plan change when Brett got hurt? and we grinded it out how come we didn't pass more? oh yeah my bad here to you said we didn't have a QB who could pass worth a damn and to shorten the game we had to run the ball because we only had one QB who could pass the ball and he was injured...Mr. positive always right there there hey where do I sign up for you Motivational Speeches Kurtis?

First of all Shizz it is hard to retort when I really dont have a clue what you just said. My point about Tyler is that he is the third string Quarterback and he probably doesn't recieve a whole lot of reps in practice at QB. And if he were a great passer he wouldnt be 3rd string. He understands his role on this team and he did an excellent job stepping in and helping us get a win. Throwing a screen pass behing the line of scrimmage is much diiferent than throwing the ball downfield. The only time I say anything on here is when you so called fans attack the coaching staff for what they did or didn't do. Shizz I am going to go out on a limb and say you probably didn't play football in High school? How many coaches in the state of Indiana do you think didn't play in school?? There lies my point. I don't profess to know more about brain surgeries than dr.'s just because my wife makes me watch Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice! So just because you watch NFL, College, and High School football don't pretend to know more than the coaches!!!! Mr. Fields:)

Actually i think it would be pretty interesting if you came on here next week and ranted about someone on Grey's Anatomy did somethin wrong...My little problem is why do you care so much about what fans who give their opinion on here say? heck let someone piss and moan does it boil your blood that bad? no need to get all bent out of shape on it do you think for example the Colts coaches and front office last year got all red hot mad when Drunken Bob #3 from Rusty's Downtown Fatboy Steakhouse called into the local sports radio show complaining at how bad Jim Caldwell was coaching or how bad certain players were? do you think Jim Irsay called in and sent a letter to Drunken Bob and told him that he didn't know what he was talkin about so stop calling in? Abd everybody this is a shocker he pointed out I didn't play high school football now if you're goin to get on me for not playing high school football but analyzing this you need to get ahold of the Big Ten Network more importantly the Big 10 and tell them that it's not right to have Tim Doyle A BASKETBALL PLAYER AT NORTHWESTERN to be on their college football show talking about college football because he never played college football and his opinion doesn't matter... it's just people giving their opinion and if you get all bent out of shape over somethin that means very little in the big world of football then I don't know what to tell you

T Shizz i stay calm. There is actually nothing you could say that would upset me. My only problem is people (mainly you) come on here and criticize, not share opinions. I am sure every coach on that staff would agree that there are situations in every game that they would handle different. My point is you actually act like you know what they should be doing. It totally baffles me to say the least. You mentioned the guy that played basketball but now discusses football on some show. Does he act on that show like he knows what those particular coaches should be doing? I highly doubt it. It just seems to me that you mostly question and criticize people that know ten times more than you do on the subject of football. That i guess is the only things that remotely bothers me. Most of the other stuff you say i just find amusing. So thanks for that.

Alumni, if you want opinions, I will give you a few. When you have a team pinned deep with the 2nd half winding down and you want a chance to score, which I assume we did since we brought an injured player back in, you use your timeouts to stop the clock on defense. You can control clock stoppage on offense by spiking the ball, going out of bounds ect.. Thats my opinion about that. 2nd opinion. When a defense is playing 8 in the box, don't continually try to run up the middle, thats exactly what they are daring you to do. Did you know beofre getting injured, #22 had 2 carries? Do you know his runs are designed to go wide? Do you know hes the fastest guy on the team? In my opinion, we probably should have done more of that to stretch the defense. And my 3rd opinion. I don't believe we have the correct person backing up our QB. I'm not much for naming names on here so I will just leave it at that. If you have followed Paoli football at all levels, you probably know what I am talking about. Once again, these are my opinions.

Also my opinion. The coaches done little in game coaching to help us win the game. Not saying anything bad about pre preparation, just in game coaching. In my opinion, we won the game because we had better athletes on the field.

Realistic I will keep this short and to the point cause dont want to sound dume. Travis Allen averaged over 5 yards per carry for the game, so I believe running mid and veer was working just fine. It is hard to open the playbook up when you have a kid at QB that hasn't gotten many reps.Oh and Shizz I will assure you I didn't lose much sleep at the thought of you and I not being best friends anymore:) See you guys at the game! GO RAMS!!!!
