I went to the Paoli vs West Washington game and was dissapointed actually the offensive play calling was so bad It gave me the diaharrea I thought I was watching "Scalf Era" offensive football from his final years... when you CANNOT look on the field at what the other team is doing and adjust too better your team and you keep running that same play or formation YOU NEED TO BE FIRED FROM YOUR JOB AS OFFENSIVE PLAY CALLER... Jimmy Garopolo is the starting QB playing for Tom Brady do the Patriots expect him to go out there and be Tom Brady? NO do they adjust the offense to him change formations etc. to better help him be the best he can be? YES... there is nothing different the OC needs to go find a book it's called "Finding The Winning Edge" by Bill Walsh in there he will break down the 49er West Coast Offense situations why he would use it and situational changes dictated on field position it has it written out so you can by gosh understand and read it I read it and do you know why the 49er West Coast Offense was invented because when Bill Walsh was the Offensive Coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals in 1969 their QB was a strong arm kid who went down to injury his replacement was a soft throwing QB they build an offense for high percentage passes catch and run or short passes to help them win... and the psychology teaching Offensive Coordinator can't figure this out... I am not even going to get started on the Urban Meyer "Shotgun Spread Option attack"... heck i'm just waiting them to bust out the 1962 Green Bay Packers Paul Hornung Single Wing Offense... a total abomination... against West Washington... it was blasphemous... not even a screen pass to the halfback was ran... running the damn veer offense like they were the 2005-2006 Warren Central Teams out of Indy who was rated #1 in the whole USA... I just get tired of running the same ol crap over and over and over IF IT ISN'T WORKING

You can go back and read my post from 3-4 years ago. This offense will not work against equal or better talent. It's so predictable. I'm just not sure we have the size and experience on the O line to make any major adjustments. That's why I said earlier this year, we need to spread the field a little. But I agree with you, I was sitting in the stands saying where the ball was going on the next play. BTW, I was right too much.
