The Balsmeyer era and tradition that Balsmeyer created at Paoli and what Lowery continued is over. Paoli school decided that hiring Glessing as new coach and starting a new program was the “great idea”. Paoli football players wanted Dittmer to be their coach to continue the tradition (players still want Dittmer). Hiring of Glessing was a shock. Players all thought Dittmer would be Head Coach with no questions asked. Dittmer is what Paoli needs, not Glessing. Players are quitting because under Glessing pride and tradition is gone. Glessing has no discipline at all. The summer workouts are a huge “fu” to the program. 2 workouts a week for 14 days and not even discussing football all summer (Workouts weren't as a team either) . Players struggled as they are used to pumping iron 4 days a week and furthering their football skills for the upcoming season (Starting at 7am with 1 mile, then 15 cemetery hills, then weights, then football skill development). Players are quitting because Glessing is way to easy and they feel embarrassed to say they are part of Paoli football (and you would never think that would be the reason players would quit). Glessing does not belong at Paoli. Bring back the Pride, Tradition, and Hardwork.

I knew all of that, but was wondering if others were aware of it. Kids are not in Football condition, and the second half against Corydon showed that. It is for sure a different environment for the kids. Not necessarily blaming the coach, he is who he is, but I agree that things would sure be different if the administration would have stayed in house with the hire. Thnk they may have dropped the ball on this 1.

I think Lowery was the perfect coach for Paoli Football... but he decides to move on you can't blame him for that anyone would've taken that opportunity...

NOW with that said hey I have been to every home game for 20 years... I have seen the worst and greatest Paoli football teams over those 20 years.. people want to impact talk about bad coaching etc. it's about the inspiration and coaching that the former 2 coaches left on the players and kids that you see.. Paoli Rams are 2-1 those previous coaches must have done something right with those players to get them up to this point... give the coach a chance
