| This too me is the most talked about game in this rivalry and it cost a 19-2 Paoli Rams team a sure bet to win Sectional lose to a Orleans team they dominated twice earlier in the season... I bring this topic up because I know some people on here who read this forum had to be there for it and just want their memories of the game.. anyway I was a year a way from starting kindergarten when this game took place but over the years I have heard stories about it so i'll post what I remember being told about the game and someone correct me if i'm wrong on some stuff here it goes:
From what i've been told Paoli had played Orleans twice earlier in the season and the Sectional game was their 3rd meeting that year Paoli won the first two games one game by 40 points the other game by 30 somethin points onto the Sectional game from what I was told Paoli played horrible that game Orleans just hit everything and Paoli couldn't make a basket for nothing anyway the big story comes late in the game with like 2 seconds left on the clock Paoli was at the Free Throw line the player who shot the free throw made the first one to tie the game but missed the second free throw Paoli's Brian Blankenbaker (RIP) pulled down the offensive rebound off of the missed free throw over an Orleans player named Robbins or Robinson Blankenbaker was called for an Over The Back Foul with no time left on the clock and Robbins or Robinson stepped up to the free throw line and made both free throws with no time on the clock to win the game for Orleans so if i'm missing something or if I got something wrong or if you want to add your own story to this post Please feel free to share it with everyone
