Was just thinking about how track seasonis going on and thought of some newer almost broken records or recprds that have came close to being broke.
With that said i'll juts name off some chievements that nearly broke school records that have been over looked.
Charlie McIntosh had a best of 6'0" in the high jump? another Charlie Mac fact and that the following spring after he blew out his knee in football he nearly won the 100 and 200 meter dash in the sectional losing by mere inches in both finals.
Amnother McIntsoh record his Paoli best in the 100 was 11.33
Aaron Mullet had a best of 12'0" in the pole vault?
and that Josh Stevens and Chris Wilson could clear 10'6" in the pole vault?
Know that Aaron Florence broke the school record in the 100 meter dash at the P.L.A.C. conference meet in 1997 at Perry Central (he won the event)
That Adam Terrell came close to breaking the 200 meter dash record with times of 23.10 and 23.14?
Did you know that in 2002 Sam Hawkins, Caleb Singleton, Scott Strange and Adam Thornton ran a 44.72 in the 400 relay?
did you know that Scott Strange ran a 11.24 in the 100 meter dash?
besides breaking the school record Steven Wineinger also ran a 11.30 in the 100 meter dash?
