| The Flower Mound Warriors Baseball organization is excited to announce the expansion of the current single 11U team to two 12U teams for the fall.
We will hold Tryouts July 23rd at 9:00 a.m. and July 30th at 9:00 a.m.
Both tryouts will be held at our private field located at the intersection of Lake Forest Blvd. and Hill Ridge Dr. in Flower Mound. Click here for directions. Please RSVP to the following email: rweath@mac.com Include your son’s name, birth date, baseball experience and usual position.
Our teams will be divided by skill and commitment level.
Our Blue team will consist of those players ready to take the leap from recreational baseball to club ball. We will utilize a developmental program with emphasis on skills and fundamental growth at a much more proficient level than recreational ball. This team will be on a progressive competitive growth track with the objective of playing competitively in AA/AAA tournaments in Spring 2012
Our Red team will consist of those players with select team experience and/or an above average skill level. We will be recruiting AA-level players to augment our existing AA core. This team will be on a progressive competitive growth track with the objective of winning AA/AAA tournaments in Spring 2012.
Our Red team (and possibly our Blue team) will be traveling to Cooperstown, New York to participate in the 2012 American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational.
The Warriors organization offers:
1. Significant cost efficiencies vs. pay-for program.
2. Roster capped at 11 players per team to maximize skills development and playing time.
3. Each team will share a skills coach with over 13 years experience, and players will have the ability to transition from one team to the other as needed.
4. Each team will have access to professional coaches and high school players for private lessons at discounted rates.
5. A private practice field.
6. Fund raising activities throughout the year to defer costs.
